Celiac.com 03/08/2011 - I was so happy to discover Shabtai Gourmet's gluten-free Swiss chocolate roll. The first thing noticed was how easy it was to slice and how beautifully each slice looked. The smell of rich chocolate was overwhelming in the most wonderful of ways.  After the first bite, I knew we were going to reorder again and soon!  The chocolate sponge cake was moist and the crème filling gave the perfect compliment to the rich dark chocolate coating.  It was such a delicious treat for my entire family and not to mention that it is also certified kosher for passover as well.

Celiac.com 15/15/2009 - When I first opened the package of Squirrel’s Bakery Gluten-Free Coconut and Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars I was surprised by their unique shape: The package contained two bars that are approximately 2.5” x 3” and they are around an inch thickso they resemble a brownie in size and shape.  They aren't kidding when they use the terms “thick & hearty” to describe these cookie bars.
In addition to being gluten-free, Squirrel’s Bakery thick & hearty cookie bars are also soy, dairy and nut-free, so they will appeal to those of you who have additional food intolerances or allergies, as well as to those who have celiac di...

Celiac.com 10/15/2010 - I just received a copy of Living Without’s Gluten-Free Holiday Guide and am very impressed with both the quality and the content of the magazine.  This special holiday issue contains cooking tips as well as gluten and casein-free recipes that cover Thanksgiving, Christmas dinner, and New Year’s.  It also has a nice section on how to successfully entertain guests over the holidays who might have food allergies or celiac disease, and another that covers allergy-friendly gift ideas.

Celiac.com 01/14/2011 - I recently had the opportunity to try a gluten-free, sugar-free and starch-free cookie called "Cocoa-licious," which is manufactured by “Yes! To cookies.”  I have to be honest when I asked myself, “how good can a gluten, carb and sugar free cookie taste?”  When I opened the package, the smell of rich cocoa spilled out, and I discovered that each cookie was topped with a  type of glaze that made it appealing to the eye as well.  I no longer found myself hesitant to try these cookies, and now I'm glad that I did.  Each cookie was soft, moist and had a rich cocoa flavor.

Who said gluten-free frozen foods never taste good and fresh? When I had my first bite of Amy's Broccoli and Cheddar Bake I could not believe that it was a frozen product. The tender rice pasta was coated with a creamy, aged English cheddar sauce, and the green organic broccoli tasted very fresh and crisp, and it was a very healthy addition. This product is not only gluten-free, but is also high in protein, vitamin A, C, calcium, and good source of iron, so it's very nutritious.
