Lifeway Introduces Real Gluten-Free Kefir

Lifeway Gluten-Free Kefir

Lifeway introduces real gluten-free kefir! Many celiacs have digestion problems that have been proven  to be alleviated with the aid of probiotic cultures. Did you know that Lifeway Kefir gives you 10 strains of live and active  probiotic cultures per cup?  I tried the strawberry flavor and it tasted like a strawberry milk-shake--thick, creamy and sweet.  You can really taste the difference with Lifeway Kefir, it didn't have the chalky after-taste that other kefirs can have. This is a healthy snack that even kids will love! Not only is Lifeway kefir delicious, but it can  help those with lactose intolerance's while also providing probiotics, calcium and vitamin D; the perfect supplement combination for celiacs.  And if that weren't enough, Lifeway also adds 3 grams of inulin per kefir serving to help boost calcium absorption, and increase  fiber intake. Lifeway Kefir is  made  from the best organic and pure ingredients, is naturally cultured, completely antibiotic free and contains no rBGH. The bottom line: Lifeway  Kefir is the perfect food for celiacs and those looking to improve digestion and increase their nutrient intake--especially vitamin D, calcium and fiber.

I love this product (Lifeway Kefir)! Simply delicious and makes the Celiac tummy feel so soothed. I also love the sidebar describing your self-diagnosis and your "no-can-do" attitude. As another "self-diagnose-ee", I'm with you, sister. WE know what hurts enough to know NOT to eat it. Why on earth would we need to ingest poison (gluten) simply so some doctor can tell us, "Yep it's a poison (to you) all right"? No thanks, me no can do either!

Hi Matt, Thanks for taking the time to reply! I completely agree haha. Thanks for the links - I'll give them a read over! I think it was a mixture of the first time travelling with being gluten-free and the added bonus of the language barrier, it made me dread meal times when u...

Gluten is a protein smaller then blood, bleach does not kill it as it is not a germ. I would replace scratched pans. baking dishes, tubaware, wooden utensils, colanders, etc. Throw out crumby condiment jars and any non gluten-free spices and condiments. Cast Iron can be saved and some metal utensi...

It sounds like your hives resolved. I had a six month bout with them. Antihistamines really helped. My doctors are not sure if Mast Cell or autoimmune is the root cause.

My kid has Raynauds. It freaks her classmates out. She wears shoes and wool socks all year round and we live in a warm state. It is autoimmune. She manages it by layering, turning up the heat, use lots of blanket throws. I have Hashimoto?s and celiac disease. So, having multiple autoi...

Well, you do need to replace some things because they are too porous or damaged to remove gluten. Things like old wooden spoons, scratched non-stick pans, toaster, colander, sponges, etc. Honestly, the list is long, so try getting a few celiac books at the library or Amazon. Consider reading t...
