After many years of unexplained medical issues, I was finally diagnosed with celiac disease in 2002. The first couple of years were a rough road traveled, but I am feeling better than I ever have. Summer is here and it is time to fire up the grill for some serious barbecuing! Usually I make my own sauce, but lately the weather has been so beautiful that I just can't justify spending the time in the kitchen, so I thought I would give Daddy Sam's Original Recipe Gluten Free Bar-B-Que Sawce a try.
When I sampled the sauce, it had just the right balance of tangy sweetness, just a hint smokiness followed with a kick of spice at the end. I was very pleased with the blend of flavors and it had such a beautiful consistency that I was eager to put it to the test. The sauce spread easily and clung beautifully to the meat. When it was time to eat, everyone dug in and I actually had to ask my kids to slow down! Daddy Sam's Original “Sawce” was so good that there were requests to have extra put on the table for the baked potatoes.
