In addition to being gluten-free, this oatmeal is made with 100% grass fed, hormone-free pure whey protein concentrate.  If you're looking for a tasty alternative to traditional gluten-free oatmeal that can also provide the benefit of added whey protein, then you should try this product. It's also great to take with you to school or work for a quick, healthy meal or snack.

There is no skimping on ingredients or quality when it comes to Brookfarm’s Gluten-Free Macadamia Muesli.  This muesli is a true medley of gluten-free grains, and it includes buckwheat, brown rice, and amaranth—but there’s more…it also contains macadamia nuts, cranberries, raisins, soy flour and pumpkin kernels.
Upon opening the bag, I immediately noticed an array of colors from this amazing variety of grains, nuts, seeds and fruit.  It was a pleasant surprise to see that they were using buckwheat, brown rice and amaranth as their main gluten-free grains, probably due to their outstanding nutritional benefits, including their high fiber content.  Likewise, macadamia nuts have been shown in studies to reduce bad cholesterol, and increase good cholesterol, so I always try to find wa...

Lifeway introduces real gluten-free kefir! Many celiacs have digestion problems that have been proven  to be alleviated with the aid of probiotic cultures. Did you know that Lifeway Kefir gives you 10 strains of live and active  probiotic cultures per cup?  I tried the strawberry flavor and it tasted like a strawberry milk-shake--thick, creamy and sweet.  You can really taste the difference with Lifeway Kefir, it didn't have the chalky after-taste that other kefirs can have. This is a healthy snack that even kids will love! Not only is Lifeway kefir delicious, but it can  help those with lactose intolerance's while also providing probiotics, calcium and vitamin D; the perfect supplement combination for celiacs.  And if that weren't enough, Lifeway also adds 3 grams of inulin per kefir servi...

Celiac.com 08/31/2012 - I have always been a little unsure what to think of probiotics. My mother raised me to take acidophilus supplements religiously, but I could never find any evidence to suggest that the pills actually improved my health. After two weeks taking Vidazorb Super C Chewable Probiotics, I think I have my first substantial evidence that probiotics actually do something.
At first, I didn't notice much change, but about a week after I started taking the chewable tablets, I realized that it had been a while since I had suffered indigestion. Prior to this, at least a meal or two a week just wouldn't sit right in my stomach. I have no known allergies or sensitivities, and it didn't seem like I was responding to any particular ingredients, just every now and then, my stomach...

Schar has done it again with this delicious shortbread dessert cookie.  These cookies are made from corn flour, and are sweetened with both sugar and honey, but the sweetness is not overpowering.  They are crunchy and just the right size to satisfy any craving for the shortbread taste.  They are so good I almost forgot they were gluten-free!
I must confess that I did eat the whole bag in one sitting!  Schar is known for their dedicated gluten-free baking facility, so you never have to worry about cross-contamination.
