Freschetta Gluten Free Signature Pepperoni Pizza

Freschetta Gluten Free Signature Pepperoni Pizza -

Celiac.com 07/15/2015 - The other day I was thinking about some of the things that I miss most since going gluten-free. Most of them involve the loss of the sense of freedom that I remember having while eating out or shopping. For many years after my diagnosis something as simple as being able to buy a frozen pizza at a supermarket was just not possible.

My how things have changed over the last few years! Now it is not only possible to buy frozen pizzas again, but it is also possible to buy truly outstanding frozen gluten-free pizzas, like Freschetta's new Gluten Free Signature Pepperoni Pizza.

    Celiac.com Sponsor (A12):
Preparation of the Freschetta Gluten Free Signature Pepperoni Pizza is simple, just remove the packaging and bake it on a pan in a pre-heated oven at 450F for 12-16 minutes. I baked mine on the longer side, as I like the mozzarella cheese to be light brown and bubbling. The first thing I noticed about this pizza is that the crust is thin, which I like, and it gets brown easily, which is not always the case with gluten-free pizzas.

The second thing I noticed was the wonderful smell coming from the oven—it smelled like I was at a pizzeria. After removing it from the oven and letting it cool for a couple of minutes, I cut it and noticed that my family could not wait to try it.

The taste was amazing! This pizza offers a generous amount of mozzarella cheese and perfectly flavored sauce—and I love the light, crispy and chewy crust (yes, to me great pizza is all about the consistency of the crust!).

My whole family really loved this pizza, and it should be noted that neither of my kids nor my wife need to be gluten-free, yet each of them thought that this pizza was great!

This is my favorite gluten-free pizza. I feed it to gluten eaters and they are fine with it, which I can't say with any other frozen gluten-free pizza.

I agree with the author, as I think this is the best gluten-free frozen pizza available. They also make it as a cheese only pizza.

Hands down this pizza beats out ALL other frozen pizzas in the stores today. It was hard for my 10 year-old son to find a pizza that actually had a decent taste and now we have one. He loves it and so do both his father and I. Thank you.

The only problem now is it seems to have run its course in the stores. It's been removed from 2 of the 3 chains in my area. I guess there just aren't enough gluten-free folks to justify the shelf space. Kinda bummed.

Great pizza!  I agree best gluten-free frozen pizza yet.  Pricey as with other gluten-free products.

Celiac.com 07/30/2007 - I have a deep and abiding love for chicken nuggets. I associate tasty breaded chicken nuggets with growing up, as they were an integral part of happy childhood dinners.
When I started my gluten-free diet, I thought I'd bid farewell forever to all things breaded and that I would never again enjoy the tasty, crunchy, tender goodness that is a plate of chicken nuggets.
I'm   happy to say that Martha's   Gluten-Free Chicken Nuggets has proven me wrong, and happily so.
Martha's makes gluten-free all breast meet chicken nuggets that are tasty, tender, and all things good about chicken nuggets. In addition to containing no wheat or gluten ingredients, Martha's makes these gluten-free chicken nuggets by hand in a gluten-free facility, using only t...

Gluten-free snacks are improving exponentially, and I just found the proof after sampling New York Style Risotto Chips in the Parmesan and Roasted Garlic flavor. If you are looking for a healthy, tasty alternative to gluten-free snacks, look no further. Not only are these chips satisfying in that crunchy way chips should be, they are also full of flavor!
Open Original Shared LinkEach Risotto gluten-free chip is packed with real Parmesan cheese that you can taste in every bite. The hint of garlic is not overwhelming and adds a nice accent to the Parmesan flavor. Risotto chips come in a convenient 5 ounce bag, making it easy to grab a bag for a quick snack, or a couple bags to share at any event or gathering. The flavor is fully satisfying alone, but the chips also hold up very well...

Celiac.com 11/21/2014 - I recently had the opportunity to try an outstanding pasta sauce made by Steve Schirripa of "The Sopranos" fame, and I must say that I could not be more impressed.
When given the option between homemade sauce or jarred, I normally opt for homemade, however, this perfectly made marinara sauce offers a clear exception to my rule. This rich tasting sauce has the perfect mixture of spice, seasonings and quality ingredients—and it tastes wonderful on your favorite gluten-free pasta.
Besides tasting great it is also certified organic, gluten-free, non-GMO, kosher and contains no added sugar.

For lunch today, I had gluten-free spaghetti pasta topped with Dave's Gourmet Hearty Marinara Gluten-Free & Organic Pasta Sauce—and the sauce was definitely hearty! I immediately noticed the large chunks of fresh tasting tomatoes and garlic in the sauce which was balanced perfectly with organic basil and onions.
I love that this sauce uses only organic ingredients and real extra virgin olive oil as some pasta sauces use less expensive versions like canola oil. As you can probably guess, Dave's also doesn't use any artificial ingredients, colors, or flavorings. Another plus is that this marinara sauce doesn't taste too salty which is my pet peeve with many pasta sauces (if I want salt I'll add it or use Parmesan, thank you). In fact, this sauce has just the right amount of s...
