The L. Lodico Walk for Celiac Disease raises money for research initiatives aimed at finding a cure, please visit our website at www.glutenfreeforever.com.
We have planned a wonderful family event for Sunday, May 31st. Registration starts at 9am (you can get forms on our website) and the walk begins at 10am. We have lots of activites for the kids, the FDNY will be there with the smoke truck to teach kids how to escape a fire, the NYPD will be there talking about safety, the Alley Pond Environmental Center is bringing reptiles to educate the kids on the environment, we have a clown, and Sparky the Dragon and the NY Islanders ice girls will also be there.
We will have vendors giving free samples of their products. And lots of raffles like: a horse and carriage ride around Central Park, tickets to The Top of the Rock, an American Girl Doll, and a basket of cheer are just a few of the great prizes.
Location: Outside the gates to Fort Totten - Little Bay Park (Bayside, Queens) Get off the Cross Island Parkway at Bell Boulevard - you won't be able to miss us.
