Gluten Free products and cooking have gone mainstream recently. It seems that every trip to the grocery store there are more products with the Gluten Free label. While this is great news for sufferers of Celiac Disease, the flavor and texture of these products sometimes disappoints. As a sufferer of Celiac Disease herself, Chef Lauren has first hand knowledge of cooking with gluten-free substitutions and has developed unique recipes to satisfy discriminating taste buds AND tummies.
Participants in the class will learn how to make substitutions and why some work better than others. Plus, Chef Lauren will share her own secrets for several recipes that actually taste good!
In this class you will receive instruction and recipe copies for:
* Gluten Free Pizza (that really tastes like pizza dough)
* Gluten Free Cheese Sauce for Pizza or Pasta (we will use it for pizza)
* Gluten Free Carrot Muffins
