    Celiac.com 04/07/2023 - We get a lot of questions from celiac community members wondering if certain brands and products are gluten-free. One question we see a lot is about chewing gum. 

    Lately we've seen a lot of people asking if Orbit gum is gluten-free and safe for people with celiac disease. The short answer is that Orbit gum is naturally gluten-free. Here's the rundown.

    Chewing gum is one of those products that is usually gluten-free, but which can also contain gluten. For example, some kinds of chewing gum do contain barley, wheat or gluten ingredients, and so are not gluten-free. 

    According to Wrigley, Orbit gum is naturally gluten-free and regarded as safe for people with celiac disease. 

    Orbit Gum ingredients typically include: Sorbitol, Gum Base, Glycerol, Natural, and Artificial Flavors; Less Than 2% Of: Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate, Soy Lecithin, Aspartame, Malic Acid, Xylitol, Citric Acid, Acesulfame K, Mannitol, Fumaric Acid, Sucralose, Color (Riboflavin), BHT (To Maintain Freshness).
