According to Wikipedia, Enhanced water is a category of beverages that are marketed as water with added ingredients, such as natural or artificial flavors, sugar, sweeteners, vitamins and minerals.

Ingredients commonly used as enhancements in the water include various flavors, hydroxycitric acid, chromium picolinate, epigallocatechin gallate, potassium, vitamin C, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12.

Most enhanced waters are lower in calories than non-diet soft drinks. Most of these products are considered naturally gluten-free and safe for people with celiac disease.

    How Gluten-Free is Your Water?
Celiac.com 09/14/2017 - Is your water hip? Is your water cool? Is your water gluten-free? Does it say so on the label? Does it matter?
Gluten-free has become such a marketing buzzword that the words "gluten-free" are now appearing on all kinds of things that most certainly gluten-free, such as, yes, bottled water.
Would you be more likely to buy water labeled "gluten-free?" Would you feel safer? More nourished?
If the bottled water craze wasn't enough in itself, there is now the added marketing factor that turns plain, clean, pure bottled water into "premium" water that is not only gluten- and GMO-free, but also certified kosher and organic.
Never mind that not a single drop in these bottle contains anything but plain water. Plain water, of course, is gluten...

    Is Coconut Water Gluten-Free?
Celiac.com 01/26/2021 - We get a lot of questions from celiac community members wondering if certain products are gluten-free. One question we see a lot is about coconut water. Specifically, is coconut water gluten-free and safe for people with celiac disease?
The short answer is that, yes, unless gluten has been added to coconut water (which is unlikely), it is gluten-free and safe for people with celiac disease.
There are two kinds of coconut water, fresh and preserved.
    Fresh Coconut Water
Fresh coconut water is what you get when you cut open a coconut, pop in a straw and drink the water straight out of the coconut. Fresh coconut water is always naturally gluten-free, and contains no preservatives.

The short answer is that both fresh coconut water, and preserved coconut water in a can, bottle or box, are naturally gluten-free and safe for people with celiac disease, although some brands may not be marked "gluten-free" on their label. As always, read labels, watch for allergens, and choose carefully.

Top Brands of Gluten-Free Ranch Water
Celiac.com 08/23/2022 - We get a lot of questions about which products and brands are gluten-free. We especially get a lot of questions about alcoholic beverages. Ranch water, for those who don't know, is a cocktail crafted from sparkling water, lime juice, and tequila that is especially popular in the Southwest.
One question we've seen here recently: Is Dos Equis Ranch Water gluten-free and safe for people with celiac disease?
Like a number of brands, Dos Equis makes their own, using malt liquor and other natural flavors. Because Dos Equis Ranch Water contains malt liquor, it its NOT gluten-free, and not safe for people with celiac disease. If you have celiac disease, you generally want to avoid any brand with malt liquor or any other gluten ingredients. There are exceptions,...
