Gillians Breadcrumbs

every Sunday I make meatloaf to eat for the week. I also make a bunch of sweet potatoes. this makes for easy things to grab quickly.

 

I have always used Gillians breadcrumbs, as they are gluten-free DF and SF which I need. I got sick last week after the meatloaf, and thought maybe I had gotten the meat in a different store, Walmart Supermarket. so this week I got the meat at my usual place and got sick again. the only other constant is the sweet potato. I likely had one both times I got sick.

 

has anyone had issues with Gillians? I shudder to think it could have been the sweet potato.

I use Gillians breadcrumbs when I make meatloaf with no trouble, and I'm very sensitive.

I think sweet potatoes can be risky if they had a wheat/rye cover crop. I always wash, peel, and re-wash my sweet potatoes just in case.
