These aren't any symptoms that I have had..  I hope someone will be able to help you.  Do you have any other allergies or intolerances?  Are you taking any meds (possible side effects)?  Might not be related to celiac disease at all.  I'm no doctor, but have you been checked for Multiple Sclerosis?  My MIL had MS and she had vision and leg problems.

I don't have that symptom either but others have reported tingling and numbness... I think when symptoms are nerve/brain related, it can take longer to heal, that and fatigue seem to be slow to go.

I hope others can help.  Best wishes.

Those symptoms don't correlate at all to my gluten reaction so my guess would be to keep looking for possible sources of problems. I do get a sinus reaction to gluten, but it is way more than post-nasal drip, more like feeling as if you have a sinus infection.

An easy one to rule out and something you should probably investigate anyway, even if you were symptom free, would be vitamin deficiencies which are common in those who have had damage to their digestive systems. B12 deficiencies can cause neuropathies as well as a whole slew of other symptoms, and iron deficiencies can cause dizziness.

I've seen other's comment that people sometimes discover they have other allergies after going gluten free. I don't know if that is because the damage to the digestive system would cause additional allergies or if they are simply able to recognize the symptoms now that gluten isn't reeking havoc on their bodies. Aside from the post-nasal drip, those don't quite sound like allergic reactions.

This doesn't sound like gluten ataxia, unless it had been caught really early perhaps, but I don't have any personal experience with that - just what I've read.

I don't have any ideas other than that. Good luck and let us know if you make any discoveries.

I do get leg numbness, wobbliness with glutening, along with a raft of other effects.  Tingling and numbness to the extremeties is very normal for me.  I am also sensitive to a number of other foods but these normally just cause tummy upset and tightness in my chest/dizziness and sometimes pain.  Other glutening signs are migraine type headache, visual disturbances, dreadful sick feeling with D after eating (currently still recovering from a serious glutening and still have stomach probs after 11 days), brain fog etc etc.

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?

Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.

My daughter has celiac disease and has had for a long time. She fell loses strictly gluten-free diet and recently got rid of all cutting boards in any gluten in her house at all. She just had a stool test and it came back showing of gigantic response to gluten in her diet. What could be going on since she doesn't eat any gluten and is very careful about any kind of hidden glue? Help!
