How Long To Wait Till I Test

Been having celiac symptoms since February and they have worsted and I have over ten symptoms I went gluten free for three days and felt a lot better I then immediately went back to gluten to take a blood test to check for it. If I was eating gluten up until a few days ago and only at gluten free for three days and then went back will the antibodies still be present? I didn't get to tell the doctor that I only went gluten free for three days and they said to eat gluten for 2 weeks. Im losing 3 to 5 lbs a week so I want to get this test done ASAP bc I'm almost down 25 Ibs since march and only weigh 126 rt now. Should the test be okay to take within a week?

Three days gluten-free really isn't much at all. As long as you are back on gluten now, you will probably be okay to test this week.

      Trying to read my lab results

      Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep...

      Constant low back, abdominal and pelvic pain!

      I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

      Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.
