Need Help With Education To Give To Others.

I was wondering if there are any pamphlets or educational materials that people know of from reputable sources (ie not blog posts as those can be seen as opinion and not fact not that a lot of them aren't wonderful) about the dangers of cross contamination when cooking. I'm trying to educate my therapist on how careful I have to be as she doesn't understand the limits it puts on my ability to eat what other people make due to the risk of cross contamination. The University of Chicago Celiac Center's materials are great. They have several PDFs explaining different issues associated with the gluten free diet and celiac disease. I actually suggested to them that they do one specifically on cross contamination a while back, but I'm not sure if they have yet or not. Thank you for this!  I'm struggling with well-meaning friends and family members that insist they can fix gluten-free meals that are safe even though they have been made in a gluten-containing kitchen.  I really want to tell them, if someone placed a plate of food in front of you and told you there was a 50% chance of you getting food poisoning if you ate it, would you eat it?  But I don't think they'd understand.

You're welcome. I feel like those information fact sheets give most all of the information a celiac would need, with the exception of one specifically addressing the risks of CC!! I've searched far and wide for one, but haven't found it yet! I'll let you guys know if I do!
