"For their part, the authors of the IRT report admit that there is no data to prove that GMO consumption causes gluten sensitivity. However, they try to hedge slightly by claiming that more and more research shows that GMO consumption may worsen celiac symptoms or lead to gluten sensitivity. Here again, they offer no good data to support their claims."

 

Pretty sure we all noted that "omission" a few weeks ago on here.....

I think the biggest problem with GMOs is that because these plants are immune to pesticides, they use more pesticides on them. It gets into the soil too, and we all know what happened to rice because of that. I even saw an article in the paper yesterday that said they are going to start using more of the chemical (not the dioxin) that was in agent orange because they are coming up with a new GMO seed for that. Who wants to eat something that has been drenched in these chemicals??!!!
