Cleaning The Kitchen?

Rate this topic

Recommended Posts

I'm going through our kitchen to get rid of gluten stuff.  As I go through cabinets and drawers I'm cleaning them as well.  Is just wiping them well with hot, soapy water enough or do I need to douse them with bleach???  I tossed my oven mitts in the wash but I'm thinking I should probably get new--or is just a good washing in hot water ok?  Might be better off just calling Haz-Mat :D

Vacuum first and then just soap and water. Bleach eliminates bacteria, but not gluten. I would just wash your oven mitts a couple of times. We celebrated our 25th anniversary when I was diagnosed, so I used that as an excuse to buy lots of new goodies for my kitchen.

Have fun!

Vac, wash with soap and water.  I line my drawers with paper towels just cause it makes it feel cleaner to me!
