Would Appreciate Help Understanding Lab Results

Recommended Posts

Background: My blood test (Ab, IgA) points towards celiac disease. I'm female and I'm nineteen years old. My colonoscopy/endoscopy revealed nothing of interest, so now I'm stuck in the gray area of having more blood work done to rule out anything else that could be going on. Here's my question:

My primary care doctor called today and said that all the results of the blood work (thyroid, iron, and complete blood count) are normal. I think she (might) have missed a particular result, but I'm not a doctor, so I don't know how important this is. Here's one of the results that I'm wondering about:
                                                                                  my result     normal range

mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration, RBC
  31.9 G/DL

32.0-36.0

So I wasn't sure if 31.9 is "normal enough" or perhaps a "cause for concern". I'm happy to answer any additional questions about my blood work results if that would help people determine whether I should be worried or not.

The MCHC, MCV and MCH are all calculations based on your hemoglobin and hematocrit results.  They are more of an indication of the size, shape and color of the red cells when looked at under a microscope.  Like SMRI said, a 0.1 under the normal is nothing to bat an eye at.
