Hand sanitizer and shampoo

Recommended Posts

Just wondering what brands of hand sanitizer are gluten free? I've been using Germ-X (the moisturizing one) and haven't noticed any problems, but I just want to make sure..

And what about shampoo? Is head & shoulders gluten free?

I use Germ-Ex and plain Purell for hand sanitizer.  Remember, it kills germs but does not remove gluten.  Soap and water can do that safely.

I use Costco brand shampoo that is labeled gluten-free!  I also use Suave at the gym (I tend to leave bottles there!).  You have to swallow shampoo in order to get sick.  I buy gluten-free just to be safe.  Same with my lipstick and lotion.  Anything that might accidentally get into my mouth!  Some folks have a wheat allergy (different from celiac disease) and must worry about anything that constaints wheat and may caused a reaction (e.g. Hives).
