Heavy periods can contribute to anemia.  Having celiac disease can affect your ability to absorb iron.  Celiac Disease can mess with hormones.  Has your thyroid been checked out?

I haven't seen my PCP in two years.  And last I knew I was very healthy but had celiacs disease.  My mom has a LOT of thyroid issues.  That's when they made the connection that she might be celiac.  Can being anemic mess with my light headedness, vision, or eyes?

If it has been two years since you have seen your doctor, you should consider going.  You might have thyroid issues (eyes) or you might be anemic (which could affect your being lightheaded)......but I am not a doctor.  I do know that once you get one autoimmune disorder, you can develop more.

Ah....now that the topic has been brought up with the last 6, 7 or so months it has been heavy....I've never had heavy periods.  Can you tell me why you ask?

During a typical period, a woman loses approximately 6 to 8 teaspoons, or 35 mL of blood, although yours may be a little lighter or heavier than this

Menorrhagia, excessive bleeding, can be characterized as an increase iu duration, increased amount or both.

It may be a good idea to get tested for anemia, such as iron deficiency anemia (though fatigue is more commonly a sign than dizziness).

Common symptoms of general anemia (low red blood cell count) are palpitations, fatigue. But there are no doubt others.

It is a good idea to get your iron and B12 tested since celiac disease is a malabsorption disease, so you may be short on those.  As others say, get the thyroid checked. D3, everything.

If it were me, and I was having dizziness as you say, like you feel you could fall over, I would definitely see my doctor.
