Obviously general mills says their rice chex are gluten free. Is there any cross contamination? Are the other kinds like vanilla and cinnamon kind gluten-free too (trusted) has anyone reacted bad to chex? Also a milk subsituite suggestion?

All of the Chex except Wheat are gluten-free.  I think they have said they are made in separate places or parts and equipment.  They seem to do a good job with Chex.  I eat them with no issues.
