GLUTEN FREE VITAMINS

I was wondering what gluten-free vitamin I you guys would recommend for my 9 year old. I currently give him lil critters gummy vitamins but suddenly he claims he doesn't like them. He doesn't mind swallowing pills however I am not sure which gluten-free multi-vitamin would be best? My concern is that most vitamin capsules are huge and I am not sure if he would be able to swallow them. Please help. Thank you!

Liquid Sublingual so no pills, you just measure out and add it to beverage of choice. I use the Stress & Energy and Neurological support 1 tbsp each 3 times a day. Perhaps half that for kids. OR get the childrens multi. You can find them on Luckyvitamin.com and amazon. I get them at the cheapest and watch both sources. Liquid forms are much easier absorbed also.

Does he need vitamins?  Has his doctor run a vitamin and mineral panel?  Mine did.   I take no vitamins.  None.  Except for the first few months, I took an iron supplement after my Celiac Disease diagnosis.  My anemia resolved within months.  It was either that or some blood transfusions which I declined.    I do make sure to eat a healthy diet as does my family who also does not take vitamins.

I buy Nature's Way Alive! chewables, but I actually find it makes my older celiac daughter irritable, the other one has no side effects.  The I have looked high and low for gluten-free allergy friendly vitamins. I can't take anything other than sublingual because it stresses my liver out more. Be careful of that. The longer you have been undiagnosed the more it's going to stress out your body. I was also severely anemic--and the only way I got my iron back up was through red meat.

Thank you Ranchers Wife.  Since I'm asymptomatic, I would not know if I had gluten. I cannot imagine having to worry about getting sick from cross-contamination.
Hi Jenna1028, They test for DH by taking a small skin biopsy from clear skin next to a lesion.  If you have DH, you have celiac disease.  But, you need to be eating a gluten diet for 12 weeks (gluten challenge) before getting the skin bi...
To the OP, once in a while this stuff happens.  Please feel free to start a new topic if that would make it easier.  I am afraid this is just part of forums on the internet. I hope this didn’t chase you off.
