Just look up a white sauce recipe.  Butter, cornstarch and milk.  Melt butter.  Add cornstarch to COLD milk, mix well  and then slowly add to the butter to avoid lumps, stirring constantly.  Cook a minute or two.    Add cheese of your choice, pepper and salt to taste.  You can make cream of celery, chicken, or mushroom with a basic white sauce recipe

...I use my vegan cheese sauce recipes in cheesy casserole dishes....they can be bit iffy....I just used my vegan bacon cheese mix and poured it over a large rectangle baking dish of broccoli and topped with shredded vegan cheddar Sunday for this weeks veggie dish. Check the recipe blog on my profile I have various vegan cheese dishes on their, the whole nut ones are creamier the coconut flour ones can be a bit gritty.
