Dear all,

I am new and wanted to understand the medical report based on Celiac Disease, Transglutaminase Abs (IgA) Test Result.

there are different ranges like <20 Neagtive , 20-30 Weak Positive and >30 Positive. My result is (2) Negative. So wanted to understand, will I have Celiac Disease or not. please find report as attached.Celiac Disease, Transglutaminase Abs (IgA) Test Result.pdf

1.  Your result was negative, but did they run an Immunoglobulin (IgA) test?  For celiac disease testing, checking for an IgA deficiency can impact any IgA test (TTG  IgA).  It is used as a control test.  Many celiacs are IgA deficient.  2.   Next, some people NEVER test positive on the TTG IgA test (like me).  The TTG IgA test is very good, but it is not 100% accurate.   You can ask for the other celiac blood tests: DGP and EMA.  More information can be found here:

3.  Then there are some people who are seronegative.   In that case, a GI would proceed to an endoscopy).  

You can not rule out celiac disease yet!
