Delta Airlines gluten-free unfriendly!

Full disclosure. Delta has given my family $75 for dining in the airport since we missed an international connection due to their negligence. I had previously notified them of my diet on the original flight and when they rescheduled I immediately told them about my diet.  Well, it seems that I was somehow supposed to anticipate that Delta was going to reschedule me and call 24 hours in advance to notify them of my diet. I have been met with shrugs, open disdain, and blame for my diet. I have also been told to go buy snacks for a 9 hour flight. Please be aware of this. I have never run into this on any other air line.

Yeah, most cases like anything when traveling we have to provide for ourselves. I suggest stuff like Julian Bakery bars, Kind bars, rythem kale chips, mygerbs seeds, etc. Although airlines recently started carrying gluten free and peanut free almonds, and gluten-free cookies, I do not know if delta was one of them that got on that bandwagon.

      Trying to read my lab results

      Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep...

      Constant low back, abdominal and pelvic pain!

      I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

      Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.
