gluten challenge - missing one day

im on gluten challenge and id like to know the following please: as im aware you need to eat at least 2 slices of bread amount of gluten for 6 weeks before being tested. this week, there was one day where i wasnt able to consume any gluten-containing food (im in my 3rd week of challenge). Does it mean those previous 3 weeks have been 'lost'? Or can i compensate for that day by consuming more gluten on other days now ?

Missing one day should be fine, you haven’t “lost” the previous 3 weeks.  Antibodies don’t decline that quickly.

I agree, and this is a general guideline. If you miss a single day it shouldn't affect your results.

      The ulcers are prepyloric ulcers. Not sure if that makes any difference.

      I had what was termed "lesions," and normally ulcers are in the stomach, rather than the small intestines. I'm not sure why they would want you to have her continue to eat gluten, since she had a positive blood test, but as her doctor said, if she is uncomfortable and having symptoms why not have her go gluten-free at this point? If her symptoms improve, it would be another indicator that she has celiac disease and/or gluten sensitivity. This article has some detailed information on how to be 100% gluten-free, so it may be helpful (be sure to also read the comments section.):
