Omg...i Might Be On To Something

Recommended Posts

NoGluGirl, I was just wondering--if your body reacts to gluten and casein like it's a poison, and tries to get rid of it as quickly as possible (resulting in upchucking),--is it possible that that might actually be the best thing for your body? Maybe taking promethazine and turning off the body's barf response keeps the toxin in your body far longer and does more damage in the long run?

Dear Alison,

As far as my hair goes, the reason I dyed it in the first place is because I hate my natural color!

It is so ugly! It is the god-awful mousy reddish-brown. :( I do not seem to feel any worse when I have dyed my hair. I know my great-grandmother was dark-haired. I look exactly like her! I will send you a pic. That is why I do not think I would look good with blonde, as my eyes and everything do not suit that. At least, that is my worry. If only I could have one of those computer programs to do that with. Then I could see for myself!

Regarding the barfing, I really do not want to do any of that! Plus, I just heave and heave. I just keep going unless I take the promethazine. Once, I had the dry heaves for seven and a half hours. It is too much for my body to take.

Sincerely,

NoGluGirl

rachel,

That's so crazy because today my mom was eating kettle popcorn and It gave me a stomach ache and I felt nauseous and wanted to vomit. THis is the first time it has happened to me. Do you believe Rachel that we now can have celiac disease due to this candida and heavy metal toxicity?

Do you believe Rachel that we now can have celiac disease due to this candida and heavy metal toxicity?

Yes...it can happen. Any stress on the body can trigger Celiac. It needs some sort of trigger and both of these are whoppers...so yeah....it could cause you to develop Celiac....if you are genetically susceptible.

Also....candida itself can be the trigger for Celiac. Candida contains the same protein sequence as gluten. Therefore the immune system can launch an attack on candida....if it begins to overgrow and adhere to the intestinal wall.

After that the immune system might mistake gluten for candida....since they share the same protein sequence which causes the immune response in Celiac. Researchers have discovered this and so far candida is the only thing known to share the same protein sequence as gluten.

If the immune system can mistake gluten for candida...it can launch the same attack everytime gluten is consumed...hence flattened villi in those who are genetically susceptible.

In my case....nooo....I dont have Celiac....nor will I develop Celiac at any time...I dont have the genes to make me susceptible to the disease.

I'm pretty sure I'm intolerant to gluten because mercury disables the enzymes needed to digest it. Mercury disables alot of enzymes and causes all kinds of food intolerance.

Also....candida causes leaky gut....another reason for me to be reacting to gluten. Wheat, Rye and Barley are also moldy grains....so theres even more reason for me to be reactive.

What I'm told by my Dr.'s...and what I've come to believe is that once I'm detoxed from mercury and other heavy metals...candida gets under control and my body starts functioning normally again...I can eat gluten again....because I dont have Celiac. YAY! :)

I'll have to wait and see what happens....obviously I'm not gonna be better for awhile....but when I do get there...I dont see why I shouldnt be able to eat normally again. I had no problems with any food until I got poisoned from the mercury.

Lisa,

Among the stuff on the wall chart my doctor had on mercury and the effects on different body parts etc (done by Hal Huggins), autoimmune diseases is on the list.....as well as allergies (I assume that would be both IgE and IgG).

Rachel, hope you feel better! Any chance that you could have some kind of virus? Here in PA, kids are being sent home from school with the barfies. :(

Thanks Alison. :)

Nope...I dont think it was a virus at all. For some reason my immune system kicks butt when it comes to viruses and I just dont seem to catch those things...even if everyone else around me is sick. I've never had any type of cold or flu that caused me to throw up.

Its very unusual that I threw up. My mom doesnt throw up either...could it be some genetic thing?? We dont normally throw up or get D....maybe our bodies just hold onto toxins and thats why I'm so sick?? Maybe I dont detox well in any way...shape or form??

I have no other symptoms of a flu or bug...just my same 'ol stuff that I deal with everyday.

The whole barfing thing came out of nowhere.

That is so interesting about Candida and gluten having the same protein sequence! Where did you get that information from? Who would have thought? I had no idea! It sure makes sense!

Hm, I'm not sure. Could be the sauna. Did you do that last night or Thursday? I forget.

Could be the pie but that's highly unlikely as you had that friday and it would have been long past the stomach by then.

I ate the pie on Thursday afternoon...so that should be loooong gone. I went to the sauna just last night (Fri.). A few hours after I woke up and ate breakfast (same foods I always eat) I got extremely nauseus and was complaining to my mom. I went into the bathroom and just started throwing up.

I've been nauseus lots of times since I've been sick...and I always hover over the toilet....wishing I could throw up...but it never ever happens. So I was pretty surprised today.

Michelle was even more surprised than I was.

She didnt want me driving at all today...did not want me coming home to Manteca. She was stressing over it because I wouldnt stay at my moms.

The funniest thing was that she kept saying that my body is doing something "weird" and she would feel alot better about it if I was at my moms.

My body is doing something weird???

Ummm...yeah....my body has been doing ALOT of weird stuff over the past 4 years.

I wouldnt consider throwing up to be one of the more "bizarre" or troubling things that have gone on all this time.

But yeah...it is weird for me throw up. <_<

She was saying that I've never thrown up my whole life so it was very worrisome. I said..."Thats not true...I threw up the morning after my 21st b-day when you took me to Taco Bell to "get me better".:lol:

Jin,

I posted it lots of times here and I have a seperate thread about it too....I think its in the "Related Disorders and Research" Forum.

Heres a couple sites about it.

Today's BioSET treatment was Wheat. She said my reactions were mild and indeed my glass was very small today.

:o

Wow...I think I had two glasses for that treatment. My reactions were pretty severe...I reacted to the whole panel...except oats. It was basically affecting my whole body...my hormones, my brain, my organs, the list of body systems affected was really long.

She said..."Weeeell....you can eat oats."

Anyways...I cant eat oats due to the mold. I tried. :(

Based on that she said that at some time I MAY be able to have a little as a treat once in a while.

Was it Susan?? I saw her yesterday for the first time in weeks. She doesnt do my treatments anymore since I've only been going on Thursdays. She waved to me from her room across the hall... I was getting ready to get my sauna. :)

I remember when I did the wheat panel she said that I should just never eat wheat based on how badly I was testing....even after I get better I should avoid it.

That was before all the stuff about mercury and candida came to light...I think my reactions are severe because of those things. It should get better for me if I can ever excrete the freakin mercury. Its not like I just react to wheat...I react to EVERYTHING.

I dont have that gene to worry about so I'm really motivated to get better. I keep thinking about the donuts and other "yummies" that I see (and smell) everyday at work...soooo I'm definately MOTIVATED!! :P

I'm thinking it was the brownie I ate earlier...I only planned on eating 1/4 of it, but I was really hungry and my food was cooking and before you knew it the whole thing was gone.

Yeah...I had a brownie too. :D

I had planned on eating ALL of it but someone spoiled my fun and before you knew it the whole thing was gone....it got yanked right outta my hand just as I was about to finish it off. :(

I did, however, have enough energy to buy some really cute shoes at a store close to BioSET.

Yeah...isnt it just amazing how we can muster up the strength for buying cute shoes....or tops....or jeans....or hats, or....

Oh yeah...the hat thing might just be me. :P

I told her I was seeing Dr. S on Tuesday, so Anna is going to fax him a summary on Monday so he'll have it for our appointment. I plan to take him all the stuff from my original testing though.

He will be really happy you're seeing Anna but he might not think you have Lyme since Anna wasnt finding it. He didnt know about ART when I saw him last. He might say something like "Oh...and what did "Dr. Scott" tell you??"

Okay, I fessed up about the brownie...the other thing I bought today was yogurt. I haven't opened it yet, and I may never open it, but I sure would love to have a little taste.

Is it just plain yogurt?? I would only attempt organic plain stuff. The flavored ones have too many chemicals for me to handle.

I havent been able to eat yogurt at all....not even the plain organic ones I've tried. :(

However...for some reason I *can* have an organic plain Kefir that I bought at WF. :)

I had tried it awhile back but it didnt work out and I was getting alot of symptoms. I realized that at that same time I was also eating eggs :o .....which definately could have been the only reason for those symptoms.

I started drinking the Kefir again and havent had any problems yet. :)

It tastes like the plain yogurt to me...I LOVE it.

I still cant have yogurt though...I wonder what the difference is between yogurt and kefir?? I had always suspected that my troubles from yogurt came from fermentation and yeast....but wouldnt kefir have the same issues??

Didn't you tell me that people didn't get better with (was it autism chelation treatments, mercury chelation, lyme treatments) if they were eating gluten, casein or pork products? I forget exactly what we were talking about.

Oh yeah...it was actually pork getting in the way of detoxification. I dont think there was any mention of gluten or casein. It didnt say people didnt get better....just that it was best to avoid it while trying to detox.

It did say that people who were vegetarians didnt recover....because meat protein plays an important role in chelating mercury. It was Dr. Hal Huggins who said he could never cure a vegetarian.

heres what it says about the pork....

There are a few other things to be avoided at this time if at all possible. The obvious ones are the

Try not to rachel too many treats. You're on a tear with those. :o

Yeah...I know.

I'm always so good about my diet...only eating the same 4 or 5 foods for what...8 months now??

I'm finally giving in to temptation.....and I dont feel too bad about it either. :P

The things that I seem to eat are the ones which I cant see the ingredients...so I'm not scared off. Also....I spent a few minutes thinking over what kind of ingredients might be in the pie before I ate it.

I would not want anything that could be very moldy....not after the cheescake incident.

I would not want to try anything that has obvious corn syrup, dyes like Red 40...obvious MSG....stuff like that...I wont try that stuff at all. Its just going to poison me worse. <_<

Today I was surrounded by snack foods in M's office at her store. She was looking over some papers and I was looking over all the FOOD.

I took an Oreo Double Stuff out....contemplated...then read the ingredients and immediately put it back.

Plus I ended up in the emergency room a couple years ago after I ate a bunch of oreos....and the memory of that came back pretty clearly as I eyed the oreos.

Next I grabbed a bag of doritos...saw MSG and promptly put them back on the desk.

Next I picked up some Pringles...they also had MSG and other bad stuff.

There was a couple other things and they also had bad ingredients....lots of chemicals...so I gave up....I wasnt willing to try anything. I think I was probably really hungry since I'd emptied my stomach a couple hours earlier. :(

Then I saw a plastic bag with something inside wrapped in aluminum foil. I started trying to figure out what it was.

I asked M what was in the bag....she said it was brownies that one of her employees had just dropped off for her.

This girl has been making Michelle brownies and cookies for years....and they are GOOD!!!

I knew who made the brownies and next thing I knew I just opened the bag really fast and grabbed one and started eating it...

I didnt know they were "brand new"....still warm and everything...WOW!! :o

I think if I'd have eaten anything else on her desk I would have gotten a bad reaction. The reaction I had to the brownie was barely noticeable.

Its probably because it was fresh...it was homemade...not alot of chemicals....no preservatives....no MSG...etc. I think the processed foods are alot worse as far as causing neurological symptoms for me.

I always wondered what would happen if I ate gluten....and now at least I've satisfied my curiosity. ;)

Thanks for clearing that up. I didn't think I remembered it right.

There is someone on one of the headcovering forums I'm on that is probably mercury toxic, or has problems steming from mercury. Vegan and I doubt she'd be willing to go to eating meat to detox properly. :(

I definately dont wanna get any set backs from my treatment so I wouldnt try things too often. Most things have alot of undesireable ingredients so I'm scared off by 99% of the treats anyways. ;)

I'm just amazed that of the 3 things I've tried...the gluteny brownies had the least affect on me.

I wonder if it helped that I'd thrown up anything that might have been toxic....so I was able to eat it with hardly any reaction?? Could that be possible??

T is in Stockton...which is right next to Manteca...shes about 15 minutes away.

T would never grab a brownie out of my hand as I'm eating it though!!

Only Michelle would do something like that.

I think my eyes got BIG once I saw her get up from her chair... :o I knew if I didnt stuff the whole thing into my mouth I wasnt gonna get another bite. :( Thats what I was trying to do when she grabbed it...I wasnt nearly fast enough.

Do you see Dr. Amy next month, or in June?

Shes coming back in June...I dont have a date yet though. They havent started scheduling yet...I dont even know which week she'll be coming. Its probably like 6 or 7 weeks away...at least.

Dear Rachel,

WOW! Thanks for the info! I have those in my favorites. That is really something! I am glad you are feeling better now. Maybe you did throw up something toxic. That would explain the minor reaction to the gluten. I would just keep heaving, so I have to take promethazine. My system gets like that. I SEE YOU! :P You are on here now, too!

Sincerely,

Quick drive-by....

Lots of craziness today.

First....I THREW UP.....3X.

I have no idea why...I never throw up...EVER.

I think the last time I threw up it was the morning following my 21st B-day....and that was for completely different and obvious reasons. :P

WTH??? I have not thrown up the whole 4 years I've been sick. I do get nauseus and feel like I want to throw up....but it never actually happens....until today.

Could the sauna have caused this?? :o I dont know what else??? Its so weird and I'm totally dumbfounded.

I felt better after I threw up so a few hours later I ended up stuffing a brownie into my mouth.

Yup....Donna....me and you both hit the brownies today...except mine was NOT gluten-free!! :o

Dunno whats going on...but seems I've become quite the "daredevil" the past few days.

Get this...the brownie caused only very slight pressure in my head...I got worse from an apple I ate this morning. <_<

So yeah...I had my first real "glutening" and definately worse things have happened to me. It was only half a brownie though...I'm sure I couldnt have eaten alot more without getting worse.

The brownie got yanked right outta mouth on my third bite.

So far out of three incidences eating "normal" food...I got the worse reaction from two bites of cheesecake. That reaction was pretty bad. So yeah....it had to be mold. A definate "neurotoxin" type reaction. Todays brownie was nothing like that. :)

I do not recommend anyone try this though....it was a moment of temporary insanity...and curiousity...and also I just kind of said "The heck with it". :P

Holy cow...the brownie was homemade...totally fresh...moist and still WARM!! :o

My friend (who yanked the brownie from me) siad my eyes were huge when she saw me eating it.

Ummm...yeah...HELLO....I havent had anything soooo good in a long long time!

I was upset that she took it from me...especially now that nothing terrible has happened.

Anyone know if an infrared sauna could have made me throw up today??

Anna said we would have to see how I react after the sauna and the following day. I was thinking I'd be maybe fatigued, achey, headaches...you know...the normal stuff that I'm used to. Definately wasnt expecting to start throwing up.

What do you guys think????

Rachel-

I wonder if the throwing up could be due to the sauna- I have wanted to try a sauna but am hesitiant becasue I have low blood preesure and becasue I seem to be very effected by extreme temps. I never throw up either. I do horribly in the cold but I notice when it gets really hot my body does not react so well either I used to be fine no matter how hot I got but now that my body is sooooooooo...... sensitive I definitly feel affected negativly by it. The weird thing is I take really hot baths and those are ok . Maybe the sauna overwhelmed you though. Does this make sense.

Wow on the brownie!!! I thought I was dangerous last night I made a homemade(gluten free ) pizza crust and made my own pizza it was the first time I had any thing pizzish in a while - it came out so good !!! I topped it with caramelized onions spinach and some ground lamb and homemade tomato sauce (which was basically tomatos garlic and olive oil) . Ok while it definily is not as risky as a brownie it was risky for me. I have been thinking about gluten and tempted to try it but I usually chicken out figuring its not worth it to risk a multi day reaction. But the way my body works I react to all the things that should be "safe" and then have this werid list of things I can tolerate. I think its dependent like you on the amount of ingredients and for me also how it is prepared.

Dear Alison,

As far as my hair goes, the reason I dyed it in the first place is because I hate my natural color!

It is so ugly! It is the god-awful mousy reddish-brown. :(

Sincerely,

NoGluGirl

Gee, I'm sorry you hate the mousy reddish-brown! (It just happens to be my natural hair-color...)

I used to hate my hair color, too, but as I've gotten older (and hopefully wiser), my thoughts have changed. Now, what I really appreciate is how beautiful natural, healthy, shiny hair of any color can look, and when I see dyed hair, I can ALWAYS tell it's dyed (everyone can), and it looks to my eyes to be kind of freakish.

One of my neighbors is a beautiful woman in her early 40's who spends a great deal of time and care on her appearance. Her hair is always perfect, her clothes are designer, and she never leaves the house without makeup, even if she's just taking the trash out.

She has 2 beautiful daughters, who are now 5 and 11--and she has been dyeng their hairblonde for nearly 2 years. Their natural color was a kind of golden brown for the older, and mousy brown for the younger. Now they have what one of my friends calls "trailer trash" hair--harsh blonde with dark roots.

Can you imagine what she has done to their self-images? It's like she has told them that they are not good enough or pretty enough the way they really are. They're children!

Honestly, I don't think there's anything wrong with enhancing your appearance. But I think that we as women need to be comfortable in our own skins, and learn to appreciate what we've got before we start enhancing.

I know so many people who lost their hair to chemo--and they all said that they didn't appreciate their own natural hair until they had none.

Well, it's nearly unanimous then...I also felt very nauseated yesterday. It started in the late afternoon and lasted until bedtime. I even felt weird when I woke up this morning...my vote was for the brownie, lol, but I also took a supplement that Scott had recommended for the first time, which has glucose syrup in it. I think I probably won't take that supplement often, if at all...too much sugar will make me feel weird...not usually nauseated though. I never throw up either although I DO feel like it lots of times. Last year was horrible for feeling like that...it got better after I cut out all the foods that HN and Anna said I should avoid.

2 things First I bought a bumble bar today!! (I didn't eat it and I don't know when i will) but I thought of you!!!

and 2 that yogurt thing is so funny- I bought yogurt today- but it was rice yogurt!!! It is the first time I have ever seen it - (can't do soy yogurt or dairy) Its by ricera- I tried to check out their website but its not up yet but it is www.ricerafoods.com I think we talked before about craving yogurt. I am like you with soy I can't have soy milk but I can handle soy in some stuff like I use smart balance butter alternative and am usually ok with it is has some soybean oil in it. Well I am yet to try the ypgurt but when i do i will give you a review it is gluten/dairy free and no soy!!

Ha, great minds think alike! I totally forgot about the rice yogurt! My store carries some too although I don't know if it's the same brand. I shouldn't eat rice either, but at least I wouldn't have an immune response to it like I would the casein.

That is good news about you having an occaisional treat maybe! We all deserve rewards! You deserved to have a brownie! You cannot shun them forever! It is too painful. Besides, we don't want to hurt the brownie's feelings. If we do not eat it, it will feel unloved.

Yep, that brownie looked pretty sad and hurt until I stuffed it in my mouth.

I have no idea why...I never throw up...EVER.

I think the last time I threw up it was the morning following my 21st B-day....and that was for completely different and obvious reasons

.

Same here! I hardly EVER throw up. There have been a few incidents...several of which were probably caused by the same thing that did you in after your 21st birthday.

It's possible that the sauna did it. If I get overheated and can't release whatever needs to be released, I DO definitely feel nauseated.

Dunno whats going on...but seems I've become quite the "daredevil" the past few days.

Yep, I'm going through a similar phase...I really think this would have been my time of the month cuz the cravings are almost unbearable...not just to sweets but at work all week I craved chips. :( I actually ate a few that were on the counter. :o Not a lot fortunately.

The brownie got yanked right outta mouth on my third bite.

Ah, the virtues of eating brownies alone.

As for style, chances are that if you like it, it will look good on you!

You know, I'm thinking this is probably very true, lol. A couple of years ago my hairdresser cut my hair in a very cute style, but I really didn't like it. I never thought it looked good on me, and unfortunately it was right before my friend's wedding, in which I was a bridesmaid. Every time I see those pictures I cringe, lol. I couldn't wait for my hair to grow out. I keep thinking I want to try something new and fun, but I'm afraid to try, lol. If I just look at the hair, it was cute though. I think confidence in how we look goes a long way in how we look. :P

I can't remember all the ones I reacted to, but I know gliaden came up. I think my list of systems affected was about medium...it's just that she only mentioned the joints...probably because that was the most affected and the others were just mildly affected. Ha, I didn't notice if oats were there, but I am allergic to them and it's shown up a few other times so I'm sure it was in there.

Yeah...isnt it just amazing how we can muster up the strength for buying cute shoes....or tops....or jeans....or hats, or....

We gotta do what we gotta do.

He will be really happy you're seeing Anna but he might not think you have Lyme since Anna wasnt finding it. He didnt know about ART when I saw him last. He might say something like "Oh...and what did "Dr. Scott" tell you??"

I have a feeling Scott has told him more about it, but I'm also going to make sure that I DID ask Denise about why it wouldn't show in BioSET, lol. Just in case... But see, that's what I've been worried about...he won't even make a clinical diagnosis, lol.

Is it just plain yogurt?? I would only attempt organic plain stuff. The flavored ones have too many chemicals for me to handle.

I havent been able to eat yogurt at all....not even the plain organic ones I've tried.

However...for some reason I *can* have an organic plain Kefir that I bought at WF.

I had tried it awhile back but it didnt work out and I was getting alot of symptoms. I realized that at that same time I was also eating eggs .....which definately could have been the only reason for those symptoms.

I started drinking the Kefir again and havent had any problems yet.

I still cant have yogurt though...I wonder what the difference is between yogurt and kefir?? I had always suspected that my troubles from yogurt came from fermentation and yeast....but wouldnt kefir have the same issues??

Yep, it's just plain yogurt. Total brand. I haven't tried a flavored yogurt in years...they are almost too sweet for me now. I like the plain because I can add my own flavorings so I know what's going in there. I've never tried kefir...it does sound like it would be similar to yogurt though. If I get around to it, I'll try making the coconut milk yogurt that I think NancyM posted about. I've got the "recipe" somewhere around here and even bought a yogurt maker last year so I could try it--never tried it because I could never find coconut milk that didn't have other ingredients in it. :(

I wonder if it helped that I'd thrown up anything that might have been toxic....so I was able to eat it with hardly any reaction?? Could that be possible??

That may be it exactly...I think the reason WHY we throw up is to do just that.

I think my eyes got BIG once I saw her get up from her chair... I knew if I didnt stuff the whole thing into my mouth I wasnt gonna get another bite. Thats what I was trying to do when she grabbed it...I wasnt nearly fast enough.

Rookie! If we ever meet I can teach you the stuff and run technique.

I know so many people who lost their hair to chemo--and they all said that they didn't appreciate their own natural hair until they had none.

I don't have any natural hair left. I often DO think about the hair dye stuff and know I'd probably be better off without it, but really, I just look too young to have gray hair...it's pure vanity. I DO think it's awful that that mom dyed her kids hair...wow. That just amazes me.

Could be. I don't know where all the sauna pulls and puts things......maybe Anna could elaborate on that.

This is what I was wondering too. I've been to the sauna at the gym so many times and never got nauseus at all. I know the infrared is different and instead of just heating up the area...it actually heats up your tissue and draws toxins out that way.

It sounds silly but I was wondering if toxins could have gotten pulled out and ended up in my stomach...causing me to throw up.

It's nice to have such a good friend as Michelle even if she does take your food from you. :P Better learn to be quicker around her. Or just behave yourself.

I dont know that I could ever totally behave myself. :P

I am lucky to have her as a friend though....dont know how I would have made it through the darkest days without her. So yeah...even if she does take incredibly delicious brownies from me....I think I can let it slide. :)

Or....I can just be quicker and more sneaky. :P

I'm gonna try to do some research later and see if the sauna could do something like that.

Obviously we all know how much I love the high temps. :P

The funny thing is....the first year that I got sick....I was not handling the heat well at all. :(

I was not liking cold either....my body seemed to have trouble with getting warm when it was cold and with cooling off when it was hot. I wasnt do well and was either freezing or sweating profusely.

I felt tortured during that first summer and I actually welcomed the winter months!!!

I remember hanging out with people and always worrying about the sun getting me too hot and looking for shady spots or all the windows in the car had to be down in order to cool me off. I was overheating for some reason...and this was after they killed my thyroid even!!

I was sad because I had always loved the summer but I remember being afraid for the weather to start heating up.....that I would be miserable and not be able to go outside. Especially since I live where the temps get into the 100's.

Obviously all thats changed....I think it had alot to do with all the mercury being released at that time because I dont have problems with heat since I got all the metals removed. I enjoy the summer months more than ever now!! :)

Now I just have problems with cold....but I'm sure its mainly due to candida and other infections. My head gets colder than the rest of my body. :(

Wow on the brownie!!! I thought I was dangerous last night I made a homemade(gluten free ) pizza crust and made my own pizza it was the first time I had any thing pizzish in a while - it came out so good !!!

The pizza sounds delicious!! I'm soooo hoping that I'll be able to eat regular pizza again...and spaghetti and everything else!! Even homemade gluten-free pizza would be great for me...ANY pizza would be great!! :D

Well, it's nearly unanimous then...I also felt very nauseated yesterday. It started in the late afternoon and lasted until bedtime.

Awwww...I hope its gotten better today. You could always test the supplement that Scott gave you later on and see if the nausea comes back??

Same here! I hardly EVER throw up. There have been a few incidents...several of which were probably caused by the same thing that did you in after your 21st birthday.

Amazingly that was the only time I ever got sick or any hangover at all. A bunch of us went out in a limo that night and went bar hopping. Since it was my 21st every bar we went to people were giving me all kinds of drinks...all different stuff. Random people at the bar, my friends, the bartenders....OMG...I dont know how I was still standing at the end of the night.

I rarely would drink hard alcohol or mixed drinks...I was basically content to only drink beer...beer is my favorite. So yeah that night...I probably had every kind of drink imaginable...plus all the champagne in the limo....and I dont remember anything past the 2nd bar we went to. I think I had fun though.

Of course now....one beer would give me a hangover for days. :(

It's possible that the sauna did it. If I get overheated and can't release whatever needs to be released, I DO definitely feel nauseated.

Do you think it could take awhile to kick in though?? I wasnt nauseated after the sauna...it wasnt until after I woke up and ate breakfast.

Yep, I'm going through a similar phase...I really think this would have been my time of the month cuz the cravings are almost unbearable...not just to sweets but at work all week I craved chips. :( I actually ate a few that were on the counter. :o Not a lot fortunately.

I crave chips (tostitos) way more than I crave sweets but I dont cave in because I know the mold will get to me....and I know I cant just eat a couple. There was salsa and chips in the breakroom....everyone was raving about the salsa which my boss made but I went for the lemon pie thinking it would be safer. I'm sure the chips and salsa would have been worse for me.

Ah, the virtues of eating brownies alone.

Yeah...too bad she didnt get called out of her office for something...leaving me alone with the brownies. :P

I had Anna yesterday again. I haven't had Susan for a few weeks now.

I havent had Anna for weeks because I'm having my appt.'s on Thursdays....shes usually gone for the day when I get there....except for last week. If shes there...Denise will usually let her know all thats coming up with my testing and they'll discuss how to proceed or whatever. Last week Denise wanted to put me on one type of homeopath for drainage and Anna chose a different one for me. Ultimately Anna is the boss so I'm on the one she wanted. :P

I'm taking Lymph-Tone 1

"Provides ground matrix support and lymphatic drainage associated with the excretion and reaction phases of homotoxicology."

Dont know what all that means exactly...but hopefully it means toxins will start getting excreted.

Yeah....the oats was the last one in the panel...you could see the little oat flakes. I remember that it made me hungry...I wanted to eat the oats.

But see, that's what I've been worried about...he won't even make a clinical diagnosis, lol.

He's very thorough so hes going to want testing for sure...he's probably gonna want Anna's input as well. If he does come to the conclusion of Lyme but the tests arent showing positive....he wont use antibiotics. At least thats what I'm thinking from my own experiences with him.

He will use natural treatments over antibiotics when the tests arent clear. I think he prefers natural treatment regardless. Thats kind of what Dr. Harris told me about him...that he's more conservative about using antibiotics.

I cant say for sure though...it could be he's more apprehensive with me because of having chemical sensitivities, candida, and just not tolerating things very well.

I'm curious to see how he handles things with you....once all the tests are in.

I've got the "recipe" somewhere around here and even bought a yogurt maker last year so I could try it--never tried it because I could never find coconut milk that didn't have other ingredients in it. :(

I have a yogurt maker too but I dont do well with the yogurt. :(

I cant try the coconut stuff since my body hates that even more!!

I don't have any natural hair left. I often DO think about the hair dye stuff and know I'd probably be better off without it, but really, I just look too young to have gray hair...it's pure vanity. I DO think it's awful that that mom dyed her kids hair...wow. That just amazes me.

I've never dyed my hair....except for spraying some Sun-In when I was younger...does that count??

I think if I went gray I would definately want to dye my hair...hopefully I'll be better by then because there is no way I would be able to handle those chemicals right now!

I agree about that mother dying her kids hair....HEINOUS!! :o

I think when people are old enough to decide for themselves...they can do whatever they prefer. If it makes someone feel good to dye their hair green.....I have no problem with it. :)
