Omg...i Might Be On To Something

Recommended Posts

Oh, I wanted to tell you guys something about the laser .... we have an old parakeet ... about 8 years old ... she got liver disease and heavy metal toxicity, so the vet gave us some stuff to put in her water and some other stuff for on her food. That was back in August. We discovered the problem because her beak was way overgrown.

We saw no changes .... when I got the laser, I used "organs and systems" on her one time. Two weeks later, her beak is almost back to normal length (I had to cut a bunch of dead stuff off that was alive two weeks ago ... about a quarter inch!!!), you can't feel her ribs anymore, and she has more energy!

Now, she has been having the meds for a few months, but it seems like the laser pushed her over the edge back to health.

Wow! Who'd have thought.....It does make sense thought that if those lasers help us they would help pets too though. :D

I took my charcoal in the middle of the night last night (I've had the bottle for a few weeks, but couldn't figure out how to fit it in, lol).

How much do you take. I have solaray, and the instructions say to take 1 capsule (can't remember the dosage offhand), two times a day. I can't fit it in during the day so I'm wondering if I can take the two capsules at the same time at night, lol.

I have been taking 2-3, usually 3 in the middle of the night. I figure it can't hurt me when it is away from other food and meds.

Aw Rachel, hope it calms down for you soon. Stupid slacker employees. Glad the IV went well!! And, I agree with Julie...it's not the same without your posts.

 about the flaming butt. OMGosh, who knew. I always figured that it interfered with the medical equipment they might have there...never guessed it might make someone toasty. :P

Carla,

Wow, that's great about the bird. I wonder if something like that would have helped my poor little dog...she was a mess medically...that might have made her last days more enjoyable.

You made me tired with all you got accomplished...and you did it with a cold. :o

Julie,

It did...see my update below, lol.

Everyone,

I know it may be hard to believe, but I think I may have just had the best massage of my life.

Really!

So, this is the third time I've seen this girl...sometimes I think she moves a little too fast, but now I'm thinking that she does that with me on purpose. Anyway, her usual technique is a little different than most of the others I've seen and she tends to really concentrate on the part that I need her too, without me having to say anything. So today, totally out of the blue she says "do you want your stomach massaged". I'm like, um, no one has ever done that. She says "it's really good for the organs". I say I need help with my organs  and that I have a lot of digestive issues. She says "wow, I didn't know that but I just had a feeling I should ask you". (Could it be my pasty skin or the dark circles under my eyes I wonder--in the more than 15 years I've been going there off and on, no one has EVER massaged my stomach or even told me that such a thing existed.)

So I say okay, and she starts. First thing she says is, "wow, yeah, your stomach". Then she goes to another spot and says "wow your liver is really tight". So I tell her about the detoxing and all the problems I've been having sleeping and how my doctor thinks it's because the liver is working hard to detox.

I can't explain it, but I felt really good afterwards, lol. I didn't feel badly before I went, but I felt good afterwards. Kind of at peace, lol.

She also told me about a detox drink...parsley, cucumber and celery. Apparently you whirl that in a blender with either water or grapefruit juice. For some reason this just sounds really good to me, lol. Probably tastes like crud, but it sounds clean and healthy. :P

She also told me that when I wake up in the middle of the night to apply light pressure to a spot on my forehead. Hey, can't hurt, and if I'm awake anyway, what else have I got to do. So I'm going to try it the next time I can't get back to sleep.

Plus I got a nice little candle and $5 off of something (I haven't looked at the card yet) for Christmas from them, lol.

So, I'm nice and relaxed, just finished a nice epsom salt and baking soda bath and now I'm going to get on the couch, lol.

The soles of the feet hurting is a bart symptom .... but as you know, it doesn't necessarily mean you have bart. Though since you have been being treated for so long and can't get off the abx, I would suspect an untreated coinfection.

Bart is also known for GI symptoms, so I would suspect it for you. Maybe it would help to look at a bart symptom list. Lymetoo on Lymenet posts the symptom lists on various threads .... you could probably do a bartonella search and have it come up.

I did look at a bart symptom list or two. Nothing jumped out at me, just the general fatigue. My symptoms that have been coming up lately are muscle/joint pain, fatigue, brain fog. Abdominal discomfort is not that much. I am bloated somewhat but not uncomfortable with it. Constipated still, had to increase my Vit C powder from 2 to 3 scoops. The foot pain comes and goes but is usually along with the other generalized pain, and then also if I do a lot of walking.

I did see a post or two about people who have bart that didn't have clear bart symptoms though.

Thanks Sherry! I think I'm going to take just the one capsule for a couple of more days, then I'll up it to 2 and see what happens.

You always seem to have the best massages. Rachel, are you ready to go in for one yet?

Hope your day continues on the relaxed, at peace mode. :)

I did see a post or two about people who have bart that didn't have clear bart symptoms though.

Maybe ART can give you more of an idea with the bart.

Rachel, Glad your IV went well! :)

Donna, How was your massage? My nail salon was having a Christmas Party because the owner's husband owns a restaurant, so they brought in Vietnamese food, but I couldn't have any because gluten, dairy AND soy...lol.

Donna, sorry...you told us about your massage...ignore my question! Glad it went well....I used to LOVE massages. Once when I was in Thailand, we had 2 hour massages for 5 days straight...ahhhh, it was amazing! And, it was on the beach!

Everyone,

I know it may be hard to believe, but I think I may have just had the best massage of my life.

Donna, sounds really amazing. I think I'll ask the person I go to here to do that next time since I don't dare have her do too much on my lower back. I am still having symptoms, though it may be less from the last massage now and more due to cutting back on meds.

I'm curious what benefit you'll find from this.

Hey all

it had been really quiet here . It's freaking me out!!!

So I have been on the levaquin for a few days, so my major symptoms so far are flu like- fatigue, , etc. Carla- did you get anything like this ?

my doctor also wanted me to start taking Boluoke- basically he is worried that i have bartonella, or another infection and it is buried and my body has built up a barrier, so that even an antibiotic might not be able to get to it becasue of the barrier my body has built up. The boluoke works to get rid of this barrier by dissolving excess fibrin. It has been shown to be benefical in supporting the body's circulatory and healing processes. God knows I can use all the support i can get.

Kassandra-

It is so great that your mom is being so supportive!!!!!!!!

Rachel-

thanks for the update. I am sorry so much is going on at work it sounds insane.

Julie-

How are you feeling, whats going on with your health right now? PM me when you get a chance with your update.

Miamia

I have a friend who gets stomach massaged....he specializes in lympathic massage.....it sounded kooky to me; he tells her he feels that her liver is enlarged (wouldn't one have symptoms of enlarged liver?). Anyway he is very expensive (he is not a doctor) and she's been doing to him for about 3 years. After the first year he tells her that her liver is normal sized now and basically she is overeating and putting stress on her digestive organs. Anyone ever hear of this massage method before?

And does this detox drink really work?

Rachel, Donna, etc-Ok i know alot of you are taking charcoal- can I ask has anyone seen positive results?

Yup...charcoal totally helps me if I get that "toxic" feeling...it especially helps with the brainfog. I take it as needed...not on a daily basis... it doesnt only bind toxins but the good stuff as well. I still dont test well for any other binders...charcoal is still the only one I can tolerate.

in the more than 15 years I've been going there off and on, no one has EVER massaged my stomach or even told me that such a thing existed.)

When I was getting my LED's the girl gave massaged mt stomach prior to one of my treatments. I was really bloated that day (stupid parasites/yeast  ) and she noticed it right away...my stomach was pretty hard. She massaged it for awhile and explained to me what she was doing and why. I forgot it all now.

I posted about it back then. She was going in a pattern that was sort of spelling out words...I think it was "I love you"...cant remember exactly. It was too many pages ago. :P

Me too, lol. I do know that I had a strange sense of peacefullness. I don't know how else to describe it. :P

Oooh, then I'm glad when I took it I took the tablet form, lol, cuz I sure as heck can't stand the taste of the oregano oil. :P

Rachel, Donna, etc-Ok i know alot of you are taking charcoal- can I ask has anyone seen positive results?

Last night was only my second night, but I noticed less "burning" in my digestive tract. Not sure if I've noticed anything else yet, lol.

Anyone ever hear of this massage method before?

And does this detox drink really work?

Well, I'd never heard of it before, lol. My therapist didn't make a big deal of the healing properties or anything, she just said it was good for the organs.

About the detox drink...I figure it can't hurt. Parsley is definitely a good detoxer, celery...well I always think of it as a non-food, lol, but it's probably good too. I like cucumbers and I know they are good for various things...people put slices of them on their eyes...don't know why exactly though, lol.

Yeah, I think I remember that, but maybe thought it was just part of the LED thing

Everyone,

Okay, so I think MAYBE I COULD have slept pretty well last night, but the fates were conspiring against me I think, lol.

I'm sleeping well...woke up at 1:30ish, went to the bathroom, took my charcoal and went back to bed...feeling like I could go to sleep. Well, I kept hearing something, but instead of turning off my fan (which I keep on for white noise) so I could hear...I kept TRYING to hear, but thinking it must be my imagination, but not quite being able to tell what I was hearing. Then I heard some guy yelling. I'm thinking...stupid neighbor...it's 1:30 and people are trying to sleep...go away. I kept hearing stuff and finally I decided to get up and look outside. There were FOUR police cars out there (yes, in front of my condo, lol).

I'm thinking it must be my neighbor across the street...he's had his share of drunken run ins with the law in the last 20 years. There is a cluster of officers across the street and there are several standing on my side of the street watching. I decide to turn off my fan so I can hear. Nope, doesn't sound like my neighbor...he has a distinctive voice. Pretty soon I hear the guy start yelling again....saying "get off me", "I'm going to sue you" (they've got him pinned down on the trunk of one of the police cars). Great, drunken tough guy--why can't he do this in front of his OWN house. :P

It sounds like I live in a bad neighborhood...not so, it's usually very calm except for the ocassional drunking neighbor across the street, and the wanderers who decided to be drunk in front of someone else's house. :P

So, I did eventually doze off again, but never really slept soundly. Grrr!

Great news with your Mom!!! :D

Donna,

That massage sounds very, very nice. (Jealous!! :P) :) Too bad your neighbors were so noisy! Here's hoping for success tonight!

Everyone,

I'm pretty sure that I gave myself food poisoning. <_< However, there were some very interesting twists to this. Last night I accidentally left my space heater on all night and when I woke up it was about 90 degrees. I took a detox bath (sea salt) and my stomach/gi problems improved, but now they're coming back. I wonder if this could be a bacterial problem, as well, since some flovent gets into my stomach. I wonder what's going on there?

You made me tired with all you got accomplished...and you did it with a cold. :o

 Yeah, then last night I got all the presents wrapped ... so everything's done three days before Christmas! :o:D

Today was busy, too. I played Morgan in racquetball ... I hadn't played in over 20 years! It was fun, I miss it! Our health club has courts. She used her racquet ... I used mine from 20 years ago, LOL. I still won. :D I used to be a really good player .... she's just a beginner.

Then I lifted weights.

Obviously, I'm doing great! I really feel pretty normal with random Lyme symptoms. I took Tylenol before we went to the gym because my back was still hurting ... it gets achey and wrapping all the Christmas presents aggravated it .... I think the cold did, too.

Tonight we're taking the kids to see Enchanted.

I did look at a bart symptom list or two. Nothing jumped out at me, just the general fatigue. My symptoms that have been coming up lately are muscle/joint pain, fatigue, brain fog. Well, that, and the symptoms overlap so much it's hard to tell.

I take the pills ... the brown pills.

So I have been on the levaquin for a few days, so my major symptoms so far are flu like- fatigue, , etc. Carla- did you get anything like this ?

Oh, yeah. I felt horrible for the first six weeks on it. Then I steadily improved. It must be doing something if you're getting worse before you're getting better. Just keep up with your detox!

LOL, I've taken it before this way. Yes it is very bitter. I'd have to say that Chinese medicine is much much much worse. (In the powder or infusion form).

Also olive leaf tea was pretty horrible.

Hello all,

Kass, I have to agree about the Nystatin, nasty nasty stuff. And Sherry, I've taken lots of Chinese herbs myself and while I agree some are hard to stomach I still can't shake the memory of the Nystatin, blech :lol:

Donna, so glad you had a great massage, sounds amazing. I have heard a lot of good things about the drink, maybe not the same drink but something very similar. Cucumbers are excellent kidney cleansers and celery is high in Vitamin C, patassium, and sodium and helps to eliminate excess fluid in the body. That's just the tip of the iceberg for these veggie's healing properties, so lots of good stuff.

Miamia, I thought I wrote you and it was your turn  SEE, what did I tell you, I can't keep track :lol:

I hope that the levaquin makes a difference, from what Carla said sounds like you are experiencing a lot of the same things she did. I'm also hoping the charcoal helps you not feel so icky with the reactions.

FIBRIN, there is that word again FIBRIN. Hmmm, I am begining to think there must be something to that.

Carla, you are just on a roll :lol: So glad you are feeling so good!

Birdie, sorry you are struggling with the GI symptoms. I hope you find some answers soon.

And geez, another drive-by from Rachel! Maybe we need to kidnap her and pin her down here in Rachelville
