Hi Friends:

Can anyone make a recommendation for travel. I will be taking a cruise in October. Starting in Venice, Italy and stopping in Athens, Mekenose and Croatia. (Not bragging really, just very, very lucky!) I have thought several times about just giving up on trying to stay gluten free. I know this isn't the best choice, but it is an option. How have you handled travel outside of North America. I unfortunatly do not speak any Italian or Greek. I know the Cruise line should be able to help me out however, I am spending a conciderable amount of time on land and will want to eat.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Debbie

Hi Debbie

My husband and I go on quite a few cruises and most of them have provisions for gluten free meals. I suggest that you advise your travel agent to notify the cruise line. Some ships have forms for you to fill out. Others just require that your advise them in advance. Some cruise lines will even order gluten free beer, although it won't be cheap. Have a wonderful trip
