Instead of buying expensive Calcium supplements, which might cause another allergic reaction, I was wondering whether I could take an egg shell and make some kind of powder from it and consume it.

What do you think?

1: there are no stupid questions

2: Make sure you sanitize the hell out of it first (put it in the dishwasher?) and make sure it is very very dry

3: Not sure how well that could be absorbed, worth looking into...

Most calcium supplements usually also contain vitamin D, so even if the eggshells are ok, you may want to check that you are also recieving enough vitamin D. The reason this is usually included with the calcium, is because it helps your body to absorb it. Am not sure about the eggshells, but I'm sure its worth looking into. :)

Good luck x
