I bought the mix and tried it, so far the best *store bought* mix I have found but Im wanting alterations.

What do you change with it?

I was thinking banana walnut bread and applesauce cinnamon bread. But Im not sure if I would just use mashed banana or applesauce to the same amount as liquid required 1 1/3 cups or do I do partial with a little oil, water or milk. I just want to make sure it isnt dry. So far this is the first moist gluten free bread I have found.

Thanks so much :)

There are mixes????? I only know of the loaf bread already made that you have to freeze right away. My son loves loves loves it as grilled cheese. He is only 15 months old and has become a finicky eater. I cant afford to keep up on the price of a made loaf.

OMG! I just checked the web page. Which bread mix is like their White Sandwich Bread?

Its the kinnikwik bread and bun mix. All you do is add 1 1/3 of water or milk or any other liquid to 2 cups of powder. Grease a loaf pan and bake.

Its so moist and tender, It tastes basically like regular homemade bread. I tried oj with it for liquid and it gave it a nice fruit flavor.

I know about the cost, we are on a budget here also. Bette Hagman's recipe books are good alternatives also. I found a good recipe for granola bars in there. I made a pan full and froze it and pull one out when Im on the go and dont have time for a meal for myself.

Yes, wheat is common in most soy sauces now because it speeds up the fermenting process.

For 16 years I have relied on the website glutenfreedrugs.com to determine if a pharmaceutical is gluten-free. The website has been down for at least a week. Does anyone have any information about this outage, the status of the website founder and maintainer pharmacist Steven A. Plogsted or a phone number? I did not get a response for my email to glutenfreedrugs@gmail.com in October of 2022. Steven did respond to my emails in 2012. Thanks.

Sounds like you are in the UK. With blood numbers that high, I thought docs in UK would give an official diagnosis without the biopsy. You should ask about that, so you can get support faster.  I'd try to find and print out anything that supports that in your country, get another appointment and take all of it with you. Even in the US now, some docs are doing this, my 19 year old step granddaughter got an official diagnosis here in US with just blood results a few months ago.

Is soy sauce in Korea also made from wheat like it usually is in US? I'd be concerned that even if asking about gluten, they would not be aware of or think of some like that.
