Oye....

oye indeed

now WHAT is a lady of leisure suit?!

all having fun with the WEEs are we? i guess i should try it

A lady of leisure suit was coined by hubby of Laura (happygirl) .....am I remembering that right Sillies? It is what he, and now we, call those velour pant and hoodie sweat suits.

So when you wear one you've got your LOLs on!!!

And the "wee" has double meaning here, depending on what context you use it, por ejemplo:

Patti's grandkitty is wee.......in this case it means small

OR

David Hasselhoff smelt of wee..........in this case it means pee

Julie--very impressive recall of Sillyville history! :D

I was about to suggest here that you absolutely NEED to go back there, Patti, and take a pic of this fing, and then I read Judy's post about actually putting up a pic of a ballcock! Judy, when did you do this???? I missed it!!

Nut couplers. . . . . . ..fantastic... .. . . .Actually, I think this is the stage name that the jester and the bugler use when they are entertaining together. . . . . . what a coincidence!!:lol:

How much sex do you think is normal?

I'm not asking how much sex you personally have, I'm just wondering about the different opinions on what you think is "normal"

Everyday? Once a week? Once a month?

Must go check this . .. ... ....just cannot keep meself from checkin'. . . . . . ...... :ph34r::lol:

omg amanda!! doesn't sound good.... but right there w/u on the klutziness

part 2 coming soon!

Yep Mechanicsburg, have you ever been there? It is actually a very well-desired place to live and the schools are good. Plus being so close to Wegmans is such a plus for me.

Evening Sillies--

Well Landen is still not himself--very clingy crying--not himself. We had been at John's moms to visit and Lydia was ther emy 6month old niece. At first when Landen was upset I figured- strange place and strange people but he never warmed up- actually her got worse. We got home and he didnt want to eat and we gave him tylenol and motrin and he is sleeping now. Please pray he is ok- if he is still sick- they will not do the surgery for his ears come Tuesday.

John needs to be to work by 6:30 tomorrow and also needs sleep tonight. I can get away with little sleep and still work although it will be hard. I hope he sleeps tonight.

I made it out of Weggies and only spent 70 bucks and that bought me 10 bags of groceries so I did pretty decent. Thank goodness for generic food. 90% of the food I bought is the store brand today.

not much more to report.....

Funny, I brought one, and I'll be wearing it tomorrow.

I can't keep up with everything, but love and hugs to the new KITTY (sweetness!) and to sweet Arnie.

Sammy and Rudder love, love, love each other.

Isn't there a big, rubber ball thingy at the end that floats in the water, and is "cocked" (like a dog cocks its head) at an angle depending on where the water is?

It's the nut coupler name that truly has me. . . . . ...... :huh::lol:

MORNING SILLIES!!!........just a quick poop in!

West Coast Swing!!! I thought the "swing" sounded familiar.....is there such a thing as East Coast Swing, and are they rival dance styles?!?!

East Coast Swing is what you would associate with 50's music..........more bouncy and lifting in the air, between the legs, etc. I've learned a little of that, as well as the cha-cha, waltz, night club 2-step, salsa, and others that I'm forgetting at the moment. I would really like to learn more salsa :D

Morning Sillies-

I am beat this morning! Landen was sick all night and I had a troubled night of sleep. He has a dr appt @ 8:15 so lets hope he will be feeling better enough to get those tubes in his ears.

Godd Holiday Monday, Psillies!!

A quiet day, to be sure, up here. POeter, I'm figuring you're having a welcome day away from the shop. I don't have to make dinner tonight - - a replica of last night - - turkey, mashed, rice dressing, cauliflour, carrots and broccoli....all reheated on plates in the my very best phriend, the microwave. It's all good.

...

jerseyangel Proficient
Gouess is correct - - there is an obvious place for this conversation. I'm placing the quotes over in the sex thread. it will answer all those questions.......

The phunniest thing about this is that you left the bosom of yer family on Thanksgiving and bantered sillie on ballcocks :lol:

The leftovers are me favorite part of the dinner..... :D

I agree with @RMJ, you have multiple positive tests so celiac disease is likely.  This article might be helpful. It breaks down each type of test, and what a positive results means in terms of the probability that you might have celiac disease.

One small study found that 50% of celiacs react to the dairy protein "casein" like they do to gluten. It is also common for celiacs to be lactose (the sugar in milk) intolerant, though that often disappears in time as the villi heal. About 10% of celiacs react to the oat protein "avenin" like they do gluten.

Thank you so much Trents (Scott?)! I have started working with a dietitian and did a deep research dive as soon as I got the diagnosis. I am aware of what you mentioned in the first two paragraphs, and was not aware of anything in the third, so I am grateful for that information, and will talk to the dietitian about that. I think I was most interested in the withdrawal process - it gives me hope that, although I have felt unwell recently, I just need to be patient (not a strong suit). I have printed the article you sent and will look at it more closely. Thanks again!

I really like Thorne!  I've researched thier products.  Thank you so much.

Welcome to the forum, @K6315! Gluten withdrawal typically lasts for a period of a few weeks. But there is a real learning curve involved in actually attaining to a gluten free dietary state. Much more is involved than just cutting out major sources of gluten such as bread and pasta. It's all the places that gluten is hidden in the food supply that is difficult to ferret out, like soy sauce and canned tomato soup, canned chili and canned pork n' beans, some "lite" pancake syrups, potato salad, flavorings, etc., etc. Gluten-containing grain products are hidden through alternate terminology and found in places you would never expect.  There is also "cross contamination" where naturally gluten free foods come into contact with gluten-containing grains during farming, transportation, storage and manufacturing processes. Then there is the issue of "cross reactivity" whereby you may be having gluten-like reaction to food proteins whose structure is similar to gluten. Chief among these are dairy, oats (even gluten-free oats), soy, corn and eggs. I am including this article that you might find helpful:
