Hi,

I just bought some of the Country Life Maxi-Baby liquid vitamins, but they do not have Calcium. Since I have taken my son off dairy, I need a supplement that has Calcium as well. Any suggestions? He won't eat the gummy bear variety so I need either a liquid form or a pill that I can crush up and put into his food. So many say for children 4 and older, so I need something safe for a 20 month old.

Thanks!

He wont eat the L'il Critter Gummy Bear Vites??? Man they are great! Eeeer I mean my son loves them :)

Um as for a liquid, Poly Vi Sol is gluten-free, but I do not know the calcium content.

As for "under 4" you should check with your peditrician, most of the are safe for little fellows.

I think he would like the gummy bears if he would try them. He still has texture issues with soft foods. He only likes either pureed or crunchy.

Has anyone tried the Vitamin Shoppe children's liquid?

Freeda makes a chewable complete multivitamin for children. My 2 year old takes one a day and she loves them.

Freeda vitalets are great, my kids love them. I only give them 1 (under 4 should only have 1 anyway). I also give them Rhino Calcium by Nutrition Now.

Here's the email response I got from Nutrition Now.

Thank you for your e-mail.

Yes, the Rhino Chewable Calcium Cherry tablets are free of gluten/wheat, soy, dairy, eggs, and peanuts.

Sincerely,

Nutrition Now, Inc.

Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep searching for a cause?

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?
    • mishyj
Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.
