Mission Corn Tortillas

Recommended Posts

I just got a HUGE bag of Mission corn tortillas to make sandwich wraps with. How should I store them? How long should I expect them to keep? Thanks.

I keep my corn tortillas in the refrigerator. It's been a while since I've bought them so I don't remember how long they keep. They just get brittle when they get older, so you could use them in soup or fry if they get stale.

I only use Mission. I keep mine in my crisper. I buy in bulk and they keep quite awhile if you keep them closed. I like them for wraps too. One of my favorite is to put a colby cheese slice, deli roast beef, and salsa, roll it up, and nuke it for about 15-20 seconds. MMMM :P

Yes, definitely the fridge, unless you want moldy tortillas in a few days. :P
