Does anyone react to canola oil? It's on my "spread-sheet" of potential problems. I know it's supposedly fine, gluten-wise, but...

Lisa, I have a reaction to Canola Oil. I bought it to try instead of olive oil for salads and had a reaction. I blamed the reaction on something else, unknown, that I may have eaten. Yesterday my wife was baking and I dipped my finger into it and did a test run. Within an hour I was having what I would call a full blown gluten reaction. I know that it is supposed to be gluten-free. I found this posting from 2000. It is interesting. Link

My daughter has Celiac also and doesn't seem to be as sensitive as I am to lots of things including oats, which I can't eat either.
