Hi! I am the son that SomaDee was talking about....

wow thanks a lot lol. yea like i said, ive got my own apartment and stuff in Polo Club, just off campus. And i love the stadium, thats one reason im going there haha. but thanks for the information on the dining halls, i had a hard time eating at orientation which completely put to rest my fear of living off campus without a meal plan.

oh and just so you and whoeverelse might know, when i contacted FSU about arranging food and such for me, they said that they could arrange it, but i would have to meet with them once a week to plan when and what i wanted to eat. they didnt promise clean equipment, and i had to bring my own food. When I asked about having a private kitchen and bathroom, they said they might be able to put me into a townhouse-type dorm or the student family dorms. that means i would of either been in a place with couples and people with kids, or in a townhouse with all upperclassmen.

but i forgive them for their mistakes because i love tallahassee and fsu so much and cant wait to go there.

thanks again for the info.

Hi, I and my wife are from Pensacola, FL, and both have Celiac's... unfortunately, mine manifested with itchy inflamed spots of skin that make me miserable.

However, my whole family has it, my Grandmother was diagnosed with Gluten Enteropathy YEARS ago, for as long as I've known she has subsisted on rice cakes, corn , and the like. Only now are we being blessed with normal tasting alternatives for her, and us. So, as more and more of us show symptoms, or just leave wheat behind to avoid it, we swap recipes very very often.

This year, we're gonna aim for as many Gluten Free choices as we can. We've noticed that the new lack of processed foods in our diet has been great, the food is actually so much better, and not feeling sick is GREAT. Not to mention the weight loss.

But anyway, if you're from the Panhandle area, hit me up, I'd LOVE to talk.

In the panhandle too. Got a Dr appointment tommorow with a Dr from Pensacola, we meet in Navarre though. Your lucky to have Everman's I'm sure, I haven't made it there yet. We have a brand new support group here in Fort Walton Beach if your interested. Let me know!
