Odd Characters.

Recommended Posts

I'm just curious what causes these odd characters on some of the posts.

Here's an example:

½ teaspoon ground cumin

1 cup “instant” (5-minute) rice

I've noticed that this is not random but is consistent with a particular poster or two.

If you type something in Word and paste it here things will look odd due to fonts and settings that are different. The same is true if you paste something from another website.
