Having A Little Trouble...

Recommended Posts

Hi,

In waiting for my appointment with the gastroenterologist to have my biopsy I have been considering trying a gluten free diet...but the problem is my husband is a gluten. The thing I am having trouble with is what kinds of things can I cook or do, so that he doesn't have to change the things he likes to eat on account of me>?? Anyone have suggestions???

You shouldn't try a gluten-free diet until after your biopsy ... it can affect the results.

In the meantime, you can prepare for it by reading the board! I have found substitutes for literally everything! No one even thinks about the fact that we eat gluten-free at home because everything I make is so normal.

Have you already had blood tests??

Do NOT begin a gluten free diet until *after* your biopsy. In the meantime... meats, fruits, veggies... none contain gluten. There are a million things you can cook without it. =)

Best wishes!!
