Traveling To Slovenia

We are going to travel to Slovenia with our two dauthers (age 12 and 8) which have celiac.

I need some tips from someone who have been there.

Especially : Is there gluten-free food in the normal supermarketrs?

CAn we find gluten-free food in resturants?

Any tip will be welcomed!!!

We will visit also Venezia (in Italy) so if you have also tips for italy-Please send.

Sarit, I'll also be going to Eastern Europe this summer. I'm not at all worried about diet because the food is more potato based and in general is whole foods, not a lot of processed stuff. I'm pretty sure that if you avoid anything that looks like it's made from wheat you'll be fine.
