Original Sin Cider

Recommended Posts

Here is an email I received from a company which mekes a new hard cider.

Would you drink it?

Thanks for the e-mail.

Original Sin is made not malt based. we use only domestic apples with

champagne yeast and sulfite and sorbate to stabilize the product.

i hope that helps,

cheers,

gidon

Just wondering if you think it is gluten-free?

Sounds delicious! I'm a big fan of Woodchuck Draft Cider from Vermont, which has all of those ingredients and some sulfites, which may or may not give you a problem...I've yet to figure it out completely. Expensive, though, so I don't indulge that often. The granny smith varietal makes for a nice gluten-free beer substitute.

I wanted to let you know that Woodchuck has gotten tested and is gluten free! I am so happy to hear that because it tastes much better than beer and I don't get sick off of it.
