Istanbul, Turkey

Recommended Posts

OK, this is my first international travel since going gluten-free and I had to pick a tough one, I know. I'll be going to Turkey for about a week in late November (save the Thanksgiving turkey jokes, I've heard them all). So has anyone been? I honestly don't even know what Turkish cuisine is like. Needless to say I'm pretty worried. I have other dietary issues as well, but this is the one I am most concerned about.

Thanks for the help.

I've just booked our family holiday for Turkey (although we we're not going to be near Istanbul) which will be in August..... so I'll let you know!!!!:unsure:

...but I have heard it's quite easy to eat out for a coeliac there (must print off a restaurant card in Turkish)
