Don't know what cut of pork you have and I have a feeling that these are not exactly what you're looking for but if you like sweet n' sour you might like these.

Chinese Meatballs

1 pound gr. pork

150 grams finely chopped or grated onion

2/3 c. bread crumbs

2 1/2 Tb milk

1 egg

2/3 tsp. salt

dash nutmeg

dash pepper

Mix and shape into meatballs.

Deep fry in oil-this is key as they stay tender and moist when deep fried as opposed to other methods. Drain on paper towels.

Sauce:

3 Tb sugar

1 tsp. soy sauce

1 Tb sake

3 Tb rice vinegar

3 Tb tomato catsup

2 Tb water or chinese dashi(broth)

1/3 tsp. salt

1 1/2 Tb cornstarch mixed into a small amount of water

Bring all ingredients except cornstarch mixture to a simmer in a skillet. Add cornstarch mix. stirring well and then add meatballs and 1/4 c. green peas at the last minute.

Sesame Pork Ribs(crock pot)

1 medium onion, sliced

3/4 c. packed brown sugar

1/4 c. soy sauce

1/2 c. catsup

1/4 c. honey

2 Tb cider vinegar

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp. ground ginger

1/4 - 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

5 lbs. country style pork ribs

2 Tb sesame seeds, toasted

2 Tb chopped green onion

Place onions in the bottom of the slow cooker. Combine everything except sesame and gr. onions. Coat ribs with sauce. Place on top of onions in the crock pot. Pour sauce over meat. Cover. Cook on low 5-6 hrs. Put on a serving platter and spinkle on sesame and gr. onions.
