Diet Pills?

Recommended Posts

are there any diet pills that are gluten free? I know a lot of people are against them.. but I need to do something. I injured my knee so I haven't been able to work out like I used to and I am blowing up!! Also, my appetite has increased A LOT since going gluten free. I need something. Any advice?

They are not safe. What's your diet like? Eating a balanced diet is important. Can you do any strength training or yoga?

I also want to say that I personally don't think diet pills are safe either..since I don't know much about your diet I am hoping to try and give you some advise on what helped me and hopefully it will help you.

I have gained a lot of weight prior to being diagnosed with Celiac. It has been a struggle because it seemed like the less I ate the more I felt like I was gaining. For me, the majority of my problem was the bloating (blowing up!!) along with the extra weight. I decied to keep a food journal EVERY day and for every meal to see how I felt. I made sure to wrtie down how I was feeling physically also.

I noticed that alot of my bloating and weight gain was from certain foods that were even gluten free (corn, potaotes, dairy, soy) I would recommed keeping a food journal and try to eat more protien. I have been doing this for a little over a week and I feel great and the bloating has gone away. I also have lost some weight and my clothes fit better.I haven't done much excersie, I myself had knee surgery 6 months ago.

Eating more protien will keep you from feeling like you are starving all the time. Try incorporating more fresh vegggies and fruit. I have eliminated alot out of my diet except for the basic food groups. meat, salad, veggies, fruit and fish. This had HELPED tremendously. This has helped me mentally and physically. Then once you are feeling better maybe start working with some free weights. Maybe if walking doesn't bother your knee, do that a couple times a week. Swimming is another exercies I like, especially for my knee.

I hope this help. Good luck :)
