Constipation

Greetings all from the sunshine state Florida.

I have a question my 4.5 years old is showing several symptoms of Gluten intolerant. Dermatitis, constipation, pains in the tommy, she is very thin. Is very hard for her gain weight and easy to loose.

I will order the EnteroLabs testing for her this week. We are bringin a gluten-free diet home for everyone. Since I have to be in a permanent one, and EnteroLabs recommended the testing to all the kids.

Here is my results:

Fecal Antigliadin IgA 63 (Normal Range <10 Units)

Fecal Antitissue Transglutaminase IgA 71 Units (Normal Range <10 Units)

Quantitative Microscopic Fecal Fat Score 421 Units (Normal Range <300 Units)

Hi, for my son it took about 3 months to see some improvement with the constipation. He was recently taken off dairy as well and now the constipation is completely resolved.

I hope there is an end for us too, my son is on his 7th week gluten-free and no improvements in his constipation at all. I suspect dairy may also be a culprit but I haven't removed it completely yet.
