My father, grandfather, an uncle, an aunt, and three cousins with celiac.

I took the test last year, and and at the same time I had a blood test in which I had to fast. The results came back negative, but I have many symptoms.

I was wondering if fasting for 12-15 hours would alter the results?

Thanks.

i wuoldn't think so if you were eating gluten-free prior to that.

Few questions.....

how long have you had symptoms???? Did they do a full panel???? Sometimes you can have the gene and sypmtoms and not be diagnosed until something(ie stress, pregnancy) triggers the gene. I have sypmtoms all my life but they think being prego triggered the gene for me!
