White Vs Brown Rice Flour

In our area there is NO brown rice flour to be found, I have tried every asian, indian and health food store known to man.

SOOO what I am wondering is all these great dessert reciepes can I substiture white rice flour for brown rice flour with no problem>

Most of the Bette Haggman recipes use a mix of white rice flour, tapico flour and potato starch (all of which you can get cheaply at the Asian market) One of her flour mixes uses potato flour, which is expensive, but you use 1 tsp per 3 cups of flour, so a 1 lb bag will last a long time in the freezer.

I buy the brown rice flour in bulk straight from www.authenticfoods.com and it ends up costing $10 per 3 lb bag with shipping. (I buy six bags at a time. ).
