I've been searching for the Dora Cinnamon Stars and Little Einsteins cereal and I can't find it anywhere!!!

I've checked at King Soopers (Kroger), Safeway, Target, and one Walmart Supercenter. I live in CO so maybe they just aren't here yet, but I also couldn't find information about them on the GM web site either.

If you buy these, where do you buy them?

THANKS!

I'm about to buy a case of them on Amazon. :o $26 but free shipping.

I hope the kids like them!

I bought Cocoa Comets at Whole Foods last night. The kids think they are so-so.

Guhlia Rising Star

I found mine at Walmart. I've also seen them at Giant and my local mom and pop store.

Walmart, Albertsons and Safeway is where I have seen them recently.

I am not craving them after this thread so I will have to check my grocery store tonight.

ab123 Rookie

I think I'll try a better WalMart tonight. The one I went to last night didn't have much of anything.

If not, I'll spring for the case. I realllly hope the kids like them.

They remind me of cinnamon toast crunch without the mess that the sugar and cinnamon used to make.

Fantastic.

I'm not going to tell my 10 year old it is "Dora" cereal, but I'm sure she'll be THRILLED.

I am 25 and I keep boxes of it on my desk at work. :)

People think I'm crazy when I say I love my Dora cereal, yet somehow... they are trying it and liking it! :P I used to be able to find it at Walmart, but haven't seen it there recently- not since they were on sale for several weeks in a row. I figure the almighty W was demanding too low of a price... don't get me started on my Walmart opinions!

Anyhow, I buy it at Meijer.

I love Dora!

You can ask your local Wal-Mart to order them for you.

update...did not see them at Weggies the other night.

Tequila Newbie

Albertsons is the only place I've found them in New Mexico.

Ooohhh! I'll be near an Albertsons today. I think I'll peek in! Thanks!

My sister's hubby works for Walmart and she goes regularly so she's going to look for them each time she goes. At $2 a box insteaad of $3.75 for Envirokidz that makes me pretty happy. Other than Envirokidz has the organic factor, the Doras and the Einsteins are about comprable nutritionally.

They surprisingly have some fiber and are relatively low in sugar. I think they taste great too. the einstein one tastes like fruit loops. Although the sugar is high when you eat a whole box :)

I know when I saw them at Walmart it was 1.99 a box. Not too shabbby :) The only other cereal I buy is this strawberry cornflakes and it is 3 a box. I am the only one that eats them so it is not that bad.

mom with gf toddler Newbie

I found Little Einsteins at Walmart (in Ohio) recently and called General Mills regarding food allergies. Good news was they were okay for him to eat (yahoo a cereal that does not cost $6.00 and hopefully he would actually eat it)! Bad news was they are no longer making this cereal (I think she said they still make the Dora one). But, I did pick up a box of Trix cereal and called on that one as well, I guess they changed the recipe not long ago and that one is gluten-free and okay for his allergies too!

I used to try to get my kids to eat the boring raisin bran type instead of sugar colored cereals and now I am actually excited my son can have this type of treat!

I think I may go back to the store and buy all the boxes of Trix on the shelf in case they stop making that as well

buffettbride Enthusiast

Not making them anymore??? :angry::(

I'm going to snatch up every box I find! The kids are *lovin* these right now.

I finally found the Dora Stars today and bought two boxes. I'll be up that-a-way again on Tuesday so I'm going to buy up the rest!

Im so frustrated and still getting the run around trying to reprove my celiac disease which my past primary ignored for 25 years.I understand that theres a ray of medical that doctors are limited too but not listening and telling the patient ( me) that im not as sensitive as I think and NOT celiac!Correction Mr white coat its not what I think but for cause and affect and past test that are not sticking in my medical records.I get sick violently with foods consumed, not eating the foods will show Im fabulous. After many blood draws and going through doctors I have the HLA- DQ2 positive which I read in a study that Iran conducted that the severity in celiac is in that gene.Im glutenfree and dealing with related issues which core issue of celiac isn't addressed. My skin, right eye, left leg diagestive issues affected. I have high blood pressure because im in pain.Im waisting my time on trying to reprove that Im celiac which is not a disease I want, but unfortunately have. It  has taken over my life personally and professionally. How do I stop getting medically gaslight and get the help needed to bounce back if I ever do bounce back to normal? I thought I was in good care with " celiac specialist " but in her eyes Im good.Im NOT.Sibo positive, IBS, Chronic Fatigue just to name a few and its all related to what I like to call a ghost disease ( celiac) since doctors don't seem to take it seriously.

@Martha Mitchell, your reaction to the lens implant with gluten sounds like it could be an allergic reaction rather than a celiac reaction. It is possible for a celiac to be also allergic to gluten as it is a protein component in wheat, barley and rye.

Scott I also have different symptoms than most people. It affects me bad. Stomach ache, headache, nauseous, heart racing, whole body shaking, can't walk then my throat starts to close. It attacks my nervous system. The only thing that saves me is a 1/2 of Xanax...it calms down my nervous system

Scott Adams. I was dealing with a DR that didn't care about me being celiac. I repeatedly told him that I was celiac and is everything gluten-free. He put an acrylic lens from j&j. I called the company to ask about gluten and was told yes that the acrylic they use has gluten....then they back tracked immediately and stopped talking to me. The Dr didn't care that I was having issues. It took me 6 months and a lot of sickness to get it removed.... which can only happen within 6 months. The Dr that took it out said that it was fused and that's why I lost vision. If they would have removed it right away everything would be fine. He put in a silicone one that was gluten-free and I've had no issues at all in the other eye. Do not do acrylic!
