Finding Daycare

Recommended Posts

I am trying to find a good daycare for my kids where they will support our efforts to be gluten free in the Grand Rapids, MI area. Our 3 year old was just just diagnosed with many food sensitivities and gluten is one of them. Our current daycare provider thinks I'm full of it and won't take me seriously. Please HELP!

Can you afford to hire a babysitter to come to your house, instead of bringing him to daycare? I babysit for a family right now (where I get glutened, unfortunately). I would be awfully happy to work for a family that need to be gluten-free as well.

Maybe you could put an ad in the paper to find a babysitter who has celiac disease/gluten intolerance as well.

I am a German citizen, married to a Canadian 29 years, four daughters, one son, seven granddaughters and four grandsons, with one more grandchild on the way in July 2009.

Intolerant to all lectins (including gluten), nightshades (potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant) and salicylates.
