Sharp Pains

Recommended Posts

Hi All!

I was wondering if anyone has experienced sudden, sharp pain that starts in the toe and lasts up to a minute or more. It happens when walking, sitting or laying down. It is so bad that when walking, my husband will need to stop and lean against an object. Touching him or his foot makes him feel worse. He just has to wait it out. Does anything help stop or minimize this symptom?

I thought that perhaps it was related to a mineral deficiency but I can't be sure.

I can have some of that but it's rarely more than 30-40 sec for me.

I've been gluten-free 11 mos and while it's less often it's still certainly every week.

I expect, hopefully, it'll get less frequent.

My husband (celiac) describes it as a pressure. I am thinking he needs a Vitamin B shot. Sounds neurological to me and Vit B deficiency can give you leg/foot/hand pain.
