I found this new free gluten-free restaurant list at www.gfregistry.com

I was so excited to see all the restaurants that are offering gluten-free menus. This will be a lot of help, especially when traveling.

Has anyone else seen a great list worth sharing?

Thank you, that is awesome. It will be great when we can find gluten free choices on every menu.

I also heard that there are 3 gluten-free pizza franchises trying to roll out gluten-free pizza stores across the country. Wow, wouldn't that be great.

One of them is pizza fusion. Check them out at www.Lame Advertisement.

Chipotle isnt on these lists, but is gluten free. Their website under FAQ says exactly what you cant eat (very short list) and says they will be happy to put on fresh gloves when preparing your food. I havent gone out to eat since going off gluten (except once when I picked up a grilled chicken w no bun at BK, but that was a while back), but i cant wait, I LOVE that place

Chipotle does say that only their tortillas are gluten-free on their website's list but none of the salsas are on that list.. :o ???

Here's the text from their FAQ:

"I can't eat glutens. What can I eat at your restaurant?

You can eat anything we serve except for our large burrito tortillas, our small soft taco tortillas, and possibly our hot red tomatillo salsa (there is a small amount of distilled vinegar in it which some celiac websites still say might be problematic, although most don't).

Everything else is fine for you to eat including our crispy corn tacos, our corn chips, and our burrito bowls (no tortilla)."

The allergy PDF lists wheat, not gluten. But I think the list above is a better guide, make sense? Also, some users (cant remember what site) said they fry nothing but corn chips, so the chips should have no cc.

Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep searching for a cause?

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?
    • mishyj
Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.
