Grill Your Own Restaurants?

Recommended Posts

Has any one had a problems with the grill your places?? I watched a bunch of people grill their toast while they were waiting for thier steak to cook and I never gave it a thought untill my wife had a upset tummy again after we ate there. Makes sense i guess right?? I would asume that it's bad that we grilled our steaks on the same grill with the same utensiles that others were toasting thier bread on.

I am still learning all this gluten-free info and I have to watch her like a hawk.

This is definitely a cause for concern. Gluten can get onto the grill and contaminate food later placed on the same grill. If you can, take aluminum foil with you, and put the foil between the grill and your food. This will keep any gluten on the cooking surface from contaminating your food. The restaurant may also be able to provide foil, but I would not depend on it.
