Why Isn't Cellulose On The Unsafe List?

If Cellulose is from beta-glucose which can come from wheat, then why isn't Cellulose on the unsafe food list? I follow a strict Gluten Free diet because I'm afraid of getting cancer (when the Villi grow back there is a chance of them mutatating and causeing cancer) and then there are these hidden ingriedents that make it so difficult.

Hmm thats interesting I thought that cellulose is generally considered being from plant material, and even if its from wheat for some odd reason, due to labeling laws it has to be listed as wheat.

Can I ask where you heard that when villi grow back there is a chance of mutating and causing cancer?? Ive never heard of that before...

As mentioned earlier, in the US, if wheat is in the product, it is required by FDA Food Allergen Labeling Law to be listed. If it was derived/contained wheat, it must be listed.
